Rumours of a Billy Bigbaws attitude since he went to Ibrox and has had his knuckles wrapped a few times by Gerrard for his attitude. He is worth the gamble though. Rumour is Livi. Martindale thought the world of him when he was on loan there. Of course Williamson and Penrice can still change their minds. Must admit was surprised to see Williamson playing last night as the Falkirk fans have been saying he had signed for them for a couple of weeks. To be fair to the big fella it was a totally profession performance from him!

That was a 45 minute nerve shredder. Game should have been done and buried by half time but we looked a very tired side in the 2nd half. Bell and Brownlie were magnificent. Let’s just hope the legs can last another 3 games but we now have the luxury of being able to lose a game and still be champions. Who could have believed that scenario 2/3 weeks ago!!

Every game will be tough from now till the end of the season and Saturday will be no exception, however we really have struck form at the right time and for the first time this season the defence looks watertight thanks especially to Steven Bell and Ricky Foster. With Rudden, Tiffoney and Graham doing the business up front and Bannigan controlling games the way he should be doing, things are looking good. We beat Airdrie comfortably the last time but for the first half hour they gave us a bit of a doing and if Wright hadn’t pulled off that double save when we were losing 1-0 the table today might look a whole lot different. Tight game expected 1-0

Interesting listening to the Falkirk fans assessment of their management team and players. Three weeks ago the Thistle fans were spouting the exact same about McCall, Scally and Archibald and Rudden was getting pelters as well. Still plenty of football to be played in this league. As Falkirk publicly backed Thistle last season let’s hope the two of us go up to rectify the injustices both teams suffered!! Us as champions mind you
