Terrific game. Ayr scored two worldies but offered little else. Thought we played really well and with big Holty back on the bench we are beginning to get all our important players back, just at the right time!! 5 points behind Ayr and plenty to play for in 2023 but that can be said for 4/5 other sides as well.

I thought that we were poor yesterday but still won comfortably so if I was an Arbroath fan I would be worried! Still there is hope, the worst team I have seen this season was Morton and look what they have done since we hammered them 5-1. The league this season is full of bang average sides and anyone of half a dozen sides could win it. As for Tom O’Brien, plenty of rumours saying we are getting him in January with one, possibly two of our current centre backs possibly exiting at the same time!

Any comments now?? You were told how bad our defence was!! 12 goals conceded in less than a week over 3 games tells its own story

I don’t think anyone has written Dungdee off, it’s just the sheer Sevconian attitude of their supporters that they were going to steamroller any thing in their path and that the league would be won by January and that they would go the whole season undefeated that is making this period joyous!!

Awfully quiet in here after the match!. Think maybe the realisation that Dungdee are not going to go unbeaten this season, are not going to stroll the league, are not going to have the league sewn up by January, have lost as many games as they have won, has finally hit home to some of the major players on here and it’s glorious!!!!

Given our abysmal record against Arbroath we can lay down a big marker with two victories this week. Not going to be easy though no matter the form they are in. No easy games in this league. Only seems to be one set of supporters in this league that was expecting to go undefeated and the title to be sewn up by February!! That’s not working out too well at the moment!!

Thought Raith were poor but they could easily have snatched a draw there. Would have been a different game if we hadn’t gifted that horrendous goal.

Ayr looked terrific tonight. Early days though but if the big guy keeps that type of form up they are going to be right in the mix. They looked good all over the park.
