The First Division would be a cop-out in my view. It would set a dangerous precedent where separate rules exist for a club because it has a bigger supporter base or commercial importance. Even the Rangers supporters I’ve spoken to want the chance to start again and work their way back up. “If the board of the SFL want to meet that’s fine, but I cannot see any scenario where the SFL clubs will vote in favour of admitting Rangers into the First Division.”

We had Hutton at Firhill for the 1st part of last season. Good player and no coincidence that our form dipped the minute he went back to Ipox, that said he didnt seem to do a lot at the Pars in the 2nd part of the season. He could easily get a English Championship club. Surprised he has committed, though he will probably be guaranteed a game every week now

Did the female debt guru on Newsnight a few weeks ago not say that "The Rangers" could only be a temporary measure and that when BDO moved in, one of the first things they would have to do was get another name that did not associate itself with the old company, so it doesnt look like they will be able to use anything with Rangers in it

To all SFL fans, keep the pressure on. A couple of days ago our club was being slaughtered on here (and quite rightly so) because of our chairmans remarks about him being happy to see NEWCO in Div 1. Fast forward a couple of days and according to the Scotsman our supporters are leading the SFL revolt after bombarding the club about our thoughts on the matter!!! FROM THE SCOTSMAN In terms of most SFL clubs, especially those in the First Division, the new Rangers starting at the second tier is a win-win. As such, the deal is therefore being presented as a fait accompli. Yet, the SFL are understood to require that the Rangers-inspired changes be approved at an emergency general meeting by 75 per cent of their members, which would equate to 23 of their 30 clubs. That may not be as straightforward as has been imagined. Essentially, the battleground over an Ibrox newco could be about to move on to the SFL, with supporters of Partick Thistle already having voiced a boycott threat if the latest Rangers rescue plan is activated.

According to the paper this morning Rhys McCabe has been receiving loads of death threats on twitter. This is what we are up against with this abomination. Why dont the police get involved here?
