Have to say, to be where we are less than a calendar year after the Airdrie debacle, where I just felt totally scunnered with the entire club, is some effort. Really looking forward to tomorrow and a culmination of a lot of hard work from everyone involved in the club.

Said it before but only season I didn’t renew was the Sheerin/Holt/Deans shitshow as by then I’d had enough of the inept leadership, terrible appointments and arrogance emanating from the club at that point. As soon as Deans, the rest of the board and Holt got booted, I went back. It was terrible, but I did feel somewhat vindicated in my decision at the time, especially around the time of *that* Q&A. Genuinely thought going bust was a possibility at that point given the way we were headed. What an effort to turn it around by everyone involved.

It was initially pencilled into be 150 before they upped it to 300 if I remember correctly. Suppose the whole concept of “limited edition”, manufactured scarcity etc is that some folk will miss out. Not a big deal for me as I was never going to get one, but I do think only 100 online when we have a big support not all living in Falkirk is a bit unfair, so understand why some folk are a bit put out.

How many weeks now has McIntyre squeezed the *** out of the most boring hypothetical of Watson vs Barron? He’s taken to asking every c**t, all who respond with a non-commital “it’s tough they’re both two gid young boiz”. Tiresome.

One of the only good things about being totally rancid for years was it was so much easier to go for a pie and a pish in the stadium than it has been recently. The trade-offs of success I suppose…

At the stage of genuine bemusement that the TV cameras in Scotland can broadcast a Championship game with 1,200 people and get all “we’re very sorry if the language has offended you” when some old boy goes “f**k sake, ref”, but 25,000 people bellow out about being up to theirs knees …….. and everyone just pretends like it doesn’t happen.

Hearts don’t lie to down to Rangers challenge (impossible)

Nesbitt is (quite rightly) getting a lot of praise because he’s turning up in moments / games that in the last two years he would have disappeared in. The problem he had was that he’d have a couple of really good games and then go completely off it for 3 or 4 afterwards; I think consistency is where a lot of people questioned him previously, including me. This season he’s been incredibly consistent, while adding a considerable chunk of end product to his game too. Absolutely fair play to him.

The majority of the fans were excellent today - second half spell in particular with both stands singing the Navy Blue clearly gave the team a little boost.

Tait MOTM for me, thought he was immense and for a player on loan he clearly fucking loves the Navy Blue
