  1. Michael Stewart reads a phrase and decides he’s going to use it constantly. “Reinventing the wheel” 7 times in the space of 5 minutes, all while getting inexplicably wound up by Aberdeen FC. MacIntyre hyperbolically crawing in the background deems it borderline unlistenable.
  2. I think this is really good news, with particular caveats. It's got to be remembered he's only 22, he's a big guy and I think there are the makings of a really good keeper there even if he's not the finished article, so to get him tied down on a two-year deal is good business. He wouldn't be my no.1 going into next season though; I'd like an experienced goalkeeper in who Nicky can learn from and perhaps even put pressure on if he's not performing.
  3. Booing a Tory for 90 minutes and potentially winning the league, hopefully a double win
  4. Obviously not seeking to distract too much from this weekend, but a wee reminder that if anyone wants to see the plucky Bairns take on the best side in the league at New Douglas Park on 13th April, you can get tickets here: https://app.fanbaseclub.com/Fan/Tickets/SelectType?fixtureId=5182
  5. Nothing grinds my gears more than labelling fans legitimately criticising a bogging performance as 'knicker-wetters' etc etc. A complete non-argument which doesn't engage in any meaningful discussion.
  6. What's McFadden saying? Turned it off at the final whistle.
  7. Patterson lasting the full 90 is totally baffling.
  8. Adams and McLean coming out... no Shankland...
  9. How do we convince Livramento to say yes?
  10. McSauce to headbutt that Hume boy, any odds
  11. These lot are terrible as well, which makes this even worse.
  12. Between Naismith cancelling his contract saying they're not the same club and the fact he just called them 'Ireland', at least there might be a few dribbling messes about.
  13. Can't be losing to these absolute fucking weirdos. Get it sorted second half ffs.
  14. A suggestion or something you've heard?
  15. I think that if he was to finish top goalscorer in the entire country, you’d have to give it to Morrison tbh.
  16. Thought he got it a wee bit tight when he was here. He wasn’t brilliant, but he was an 18 year old kid signed at the last minute by a panicking Hartley and chucked into an absolutely bogging side. You could see he was quite technically gifted, if a bit raw. Fair play to him.
  17. This is why it’s such a tricky one. It’s all dependant on individual interpretations. I disagree with others in that I think the level you’re at does have to be a factor. It’s why at the start of this conversation I said Morrison is on his way to potentially becoming a legend, but he’s not there yet. Length of time at the club does come into it for me, outwith achievements such as winning a Scottish Cup which would make someone a legend in my eyes. It would be dependant on him doing it for us at a higher level for him to enter that conversation. Going unbeaten in League One would be an incredible achievement no doubt, it would be an season that would live long in the memory, but labelling some players who were good enough to get us out of League One but (potentially, who knows) might not cut it for us long-term, even in the Championship, as ‘ legends’ feels a bit strong for me.
  18. Callumn Morrison is the first player in a LONG time we've had who could potentially reach legend status btw. He's not there yet, but he's already been here for a long time, particularly by modern day football standards. He's been our best player through exceptionally bad times and now good ones. He's scored some absolute pearlers and constantly changes games out of nowhere. The club stuck by him through injuries and now he's sticking by the club, committing for two more years, when he could probably easily have gone elsewhere.. Plus, unless I'm mistaken, he's already in the top 10 list of the clubs all time scorers. Fucking love him.
