  1. Easy enough for them to get out quickly. Stand was half empty.
  2. Had their wee laugh when we were at our lowest ebb in the seaside leagues. Good to see things return to their natural order.
  3. Ideal scenario is we start right on the front foot, press high and get an early goal, getting their fans to turn sharpish which will affect their players on the pitch. Happened to us so many times over the years when we were in a bad place, would be nice for us to do it to someone else. (Cue us going 1-0 down after 3 minutes)
  4. That was a good shot of the Airdrie fans leaving the away end
  5. This is hilarious. Fash tears plz cameraman!
  6. Harsh to expect a shift from Airdrie after all that rioting tbf
  7. I remember when the 4th goal went in about half way through the second-half and I feared it could 6, 7 or 8. Was actually relieved at keeping it to 4, which just about sums up how f**king bad that team was. Just had a wee look at the starting 11 and it included Joe McKee, Ruben Sammut, Scott Harrison and Dennon Lewis. Proper ‘if you don’t laugh, you’ll cry’ stuff. Although it gave us ultimately short-lived hope, the 1-0 win at EEP with Keillor-Dunn scoring was a laugh. Seem to remember Hippolyte hitting the post from about 3 yards out. We were so bad we couldn’t even accept his help in trying to keep us up. Expecting a tough and very close game tomorrow. I trust our guys to be up for it, which I can’t have always said about Falkirk teams in the past. Bit worried about Kane being back though, think that makes you a lot more dangerous.
  8. Just had a wee look at tickets; would appear less than 200 tickets remaining in the away end for Saturday (my very quick rough count was about 170 odd).
  9. If they’ve had a new manager in the pipeline for a while, keeping him over the summer, through pre-season and the league cup group stages - only to boot him after one league game - looks even more baffling tbh.
  10. I’ve actually always preferred Hendo in midfield to centre-back, but he’s started the season really well there so should keep that jersey until if and when he deserves to be replaced. Also allows us to pair Spencer and Tait which I feel also works really well.
  11. I do agree the club should put something out - it could even be included in the wider pre-text/build-up to the match etc. We have so many songs about generally hating Dunfermline Athletic that fall within the realms of normal rivalry without having to resort to that shite.
  12. Was there not a situation last season where there was some Norrie chants (and similar stuff) and there was a word had with the ultras about it? Or am I totally imagining this?
  13. Great guy. Make sure to give him complete control of transfers and he’ll build a side that’ll get you a top six finish.
  14. If it's puely results based as the statement suggests, why the f**k would you not sack him after the Ross County play-off and get someone else in to make their own signings and take pre-season, instead of binning him after one league game? Utterly mental stuff and if I was a Raith fan I'd be fuming.
  15. Didn't he sign a three year deal earlier this year?
  16. Yeah I saw that, had a quick look at the Pars match report and it was listed as 1900, so BBC obviously missed a 1.
  17. Falkirk FC Weekly Crowdwank Update: Bigger crowd than opening match of Premiership at Motherwell (4353) and the highest in the Championship by a considerable margin - Partick second with 4148. #MassiveFC #NavyBluePound
  18. Still think Dunfermline will be fine. With regards to next week, we’ve been in a good place, but always an unpredictability factor about these games. Would obviously be delighted to win, not only cause it’s a derby, but also to get one round McPake, who is one of Scottish football’s prize c***s
  19. Agree with this. They have been such a positive addition to the stadium which was often like a morgue before they started up. But the Norrie stuff is cringeworthy, and they were also singing about Dean Shiels last night too - a guy who played 19 times for Dunfermline 6 years ago. Just a bit bizarre.
  20. How Hamilton made Tait look so ordinary is astounding. Boys a pler
  21. Not for us tonight obviously, but it’s a shame what Zak Rudden has become as a player. He was a massive shining light in a dogshit Falkirk team, scoring 12 goals at this level as an 18 year old. Thought he’d kick on and at least become maybe a bottom end Premiership striker. However, he was honking tonight and has been the last few times I’ve watched him. Runs about a lot, but totally ineffectual.
  22. MacIver was twisting, swerving and dribbling tonight. He was awesome. Would have scored a screamer too if not for a great save. Hard not to be chuffed for Sean Mackie too. When I saw him at Edinburgh City back in January, he looked miserable and like he wanted to be anywhere else, before getting hooked at half-time. Must admit I didn’t really think he’d feature in our plans going forward. But he’s started the season well and he was brilliant tonight. Could tell it meant a lot to him too.
  23. Heard rumours the Bairns might be back. Can anyone confirm?
