  1. PAUL CLARK, of Duff and Phelps, joint administrators of RFC 2012 PLC (formerly The Rangers Football Club plc), issued the following statement today: "I can confirm that the business and certain assets of RFC 2012 PLC – including the honours won by the Club - were acquired by Mr Charles Green's consortium as part of the sale and purchase agreement. "The SPL have been in contact with RFC 2012 PLC with regard to the SPL's Commission which is examining Rangers' historic use of EBTs. 1. However, having taken legal advice, it is the Joint Administrators' opinion that the SPL is not able to pursue RFC 2012 PLC in this matter. "The SPL have stated that the Commission is empowered to review the use of EBTs under the contract between the SPL and its member club. 2. RFC 2012 PLC no longer has a contract with the SPL and therefore the SPL has no jurisdiction over it. "This has been communicated to the SPL and considering 3. that further involvement in this matter is not in the interests of its creditors, RFC 2012 PLC will have no further involvement with the Commission. "Our primary role as Administrators 4. was to rescue the business which has been achieved by Charles Green and his consortium and whilst any sanctions the Commission may levy will not affect RFC 2012 PLC this process would not appear to us to be helpful to the ongoing revival of Rangers." On point 4, that surely puts them in trouble with BDO, as the prime role, and this has been stated ad nauseam, of Administrators is to look after the interests of the creditors, not the business.
  2. Which was?.......that RFC(IL) should suffer a transfer moratorium, in order to avoid putting them out of football altogether? Oh, aye dead biased against RFC(IL)
  3. What dodgy evidence did he allow? The dodgy evidence that said CW didn't pay PAYE? or VAT?
  4. But it if is an independent tribunal, they'll just discount the dodgy evidence, as a judge would rule it inadmissable, instruct the jury to ignore it in a normal fair trial and use the rest to weigh up the case. Unless you're accusing the independent tribual of bias as well as the investigators. When the polis investigate a crime they are prejudiced against everyone, they assume all the suspects are guilty from day one, because not to do so might lead to them chasing the wrong guy or chasing a false trail in the first place. It's the first rule of investigation, rule nothing and no-one out 'til proved otherwise. BUT...... at the end of the day the evidence must stand up to scrutiny or it's filed in the waste basket.
  5. And quite where are The Rangers going to get the funds to allow that kind of payback? They already appear to be paying over the odds for their current position in Div 3, and most folk seem to think their current business plan is untenable, so how could they afford to compensate the SPL for their wrongdoings, yet ensure back-to-back promotions to be in the SPL in 3 years' time? Or will financial penalties be subject to the same skewing of the game as the Old Rangers had and they won't kick in until Sevco are back in their "rightful" position . I would imagine the penalties would have to be very substantial, the punishment fits the crime and all that, anybody any thoughts on what they should be? 50% of the assumed financial gain of winning the SPL, participation in CL, etc over 11 years? Any ideas on what that would be?
  6. I watched a documentray on Channel 4 the other night about deja-vu, about halfway through I had this funy feeling I had seen it before. I know where my coat is, thank you.
  7. I like the drug-taking analogy, it is very apt. Cos the Broxy Boys are effin addicted to success and act like a junkie on withdrawal if they don't get their fix. The Rangers - The Ben Johnson of Scottish Football.
  8. What's this local holiday shit got to do with it? Is most of your support from Paisley? Gasgow Fair finished nearly two weeks ago. And surely it's of no relevance anyway cos you're a GLOBAL BRAND,right, so local financial considerations shuoldn't matter either? The local financial conditions ain't different from the last four years anyway. It's only the poor credit rating, therefore bank problems that are different to the last four years. Oh, aye, and the fact that it's a Newco. And the liquidation. And the walking away from debt. And the chancer in charge.
  9. So, still no cutting their cloth, eh? Surprise, surprise. Showboating up to the usual standard (I was going to say beyond belief, but, with that crowd, nothing is). In truth, it is fuckin disgraceful, pulling in players on mega-wages when there's no need for it, then passing the guilt onto the fans "if we pay the tea-lady aff, then it's all the fans fault for no supporting us."
  10. Right, so 3/4 of 7,300 is 5850, added to 38,000 is 43,850, pretty damn close to what a lot of commentators, amateur and professional were saying, with still thousands outside , but that's still 8,000 odd short of a full house, which a few claim it was. Well dodgy. Was the Club Deck cash only?
  11. Huge Keichyins report in the Record says of last night's game, The New Rangers against EF, that "Ally McCoist had hoped for the team’s most passionate fans, the Blue Order, to be in their usual places as another sign of continuity. They responded to his call and the size of the attendance was phenomenal for a game of this stature. If the Club Deck had been opened the ground would have been filled to capacity. As it was, the kick-off had to be delayed by 20 minutes to let the crowd in." Anyone know what the capacity of the Club Deck is? Surely not 13000? If not, then another piece of evidence confirming a bit of jiggery pokery.
  12. "Revenge is a dish best served cold". I think the catering has been contracted out at Ibrox. I suspect that it''ll no be revenge they're serving up come Xmas, it'll be humble pie. Oh, they don't do humble, do they? Well, don't say we didnae tell ye.
  13. Very well written porn, but, I must say, I play from the other end of the field, so there are some images in my head I'll need to remove with a bottle or two of strong drink later. Are you the same guy fae the telly that gave the Deid Rangers the advice on EBTs?
  14. In the shadow of Olympus Mons, no doubt. But they'll need to attach bungee cord to the ankles of the pole-vaulters
  15. The OFFICIAL version "Ally McCoist ALLY McCOIST last night admitted Rangers still need a raft of new signings to compete despite seeing his reborn side hammer East Fife. The fallen Ibrox giants booked their place in round two six of the League Cup in front of a bumper crowd of 38,160. Kick-off had to be delayed 20 35 minutes to let the fans in and Rangers coasted to victory thanks to a Lee McCulloch double and goals either side of half-time by Dean Shiels and Lee Wallace for a final score of 6-0. But on a day he added twenty three new players to his squad McCoist made it clear he needs increased numbers. With the game safely in the bag the manager was able to hand second-half debuts to all four strikers Francisco Sandaza and Kevin Kyle. But Rangers' third eighth signing on a day of frantic activity, Brazilian defender Emilson Cribari, had to be content with a seat in the stands as his international clearance failed to come through. McCoist said: "I keep hearing people say we will not lose a game this season but we still need to bring players in, especially given we have a transfer embargo in place after September. "We will certainly be looking to strengthen the squad as we have lost 45 players in six two months. "I am delighted to bring in Dean Shiels and Ian Black and it is good to get six centre-forwards in Kyle and Sandaza who are proven in this country. "We still need a helping hand and we definitely need with numbers in. I wouldn't put a figure on it ( and neither can anyone else at Ibrox) but we could certainly do with a few more as guys could move out. "The eyes of the country will be on us this season and we don't want to let anyone mark the numbers down. I was really nervous before the match. "Craig Beattie is a player we are looking at and we hope to push it forward." An emotional McCoist also paid tribute to the fans who turned out in huge numbers (but no really that huge, honestly) to watch Rangers for the first time since they were reformed after going into liquidation. He said: "I was pleased with everything from start to finish. It was a great night. "The crowd was amazing. I couldn't believe it. "Out of all this madness in the past 10 months the ( actual number of) fans have been a huge plus compared to the official figures . It has been phenomenal." (Final admittance they're in the Irn-Bru League?) Wee Chick was coming in his pants last night "It's a sell-out crowd, 42-43-45 thousand in here already and thousands more outside" so no way was it just 38000, he might be a tit but he's an experienced tit and been in the game long enough to judge what proportion of a full house is missing. This also needs investigated. Are the The Rangers going to cheat Scottish Football financially just the same way the previous club at ibrox did? Is there something in the water down Govan way? Or is it DNA?
  16. Surely no surprise with Minty saying "We dun nuthin". What else would you expect from TCFKAR? No sorrys, no admittance of wrongdoing, we're the victims, now it's "What we did was perfectly legal!" And they're surprised we'd be upset if the SPL, SFA etc. helped them. And we're supposed to feel sympathy for their situation? GIRFUY.
  17. Ally gets a Brazilian. Aye, cos when he shaves in the morning, he sees a baldy fat c**t in the mirror.
  18. EMILSON CRIBARI can’t wait to get started with Rangers after clinching a two year deal with Ally McCoist’s side. The Brazilian defender sealed a deal today after arriving in Scotland to train with the team on Saturday. And he said the opportunity to join a club with such a rich history (nane ) was a big part of his decision to move to Scotland. The 32-year-old has spent most of his career in Italy’s top flight with Lazio and Udinese among his clubs. But being part of the history of Rangers (nane )was a huge draw for the experienced centre back. He said: “I am very happy to be here. I got a very good impression when I spoke with the manager and the stadium and the training facilities are excellent. “The club is famous in my country because it has such a strong history (nane ) so it was an easy decision for me to make when I had the chance to sign.” Emilson will not play a part in tonight’s clash with East Fife but the defender insists that with a week’s training under his belt he will be ready to kick start his Gers career. He added: “I have been training in Brazil on my own and with a personal coach so I am fit and ready to play. “I need seven to ten days of training with the team to make sure I am at full strength but I am ready to play and I am delighted to be here.” ------do you think Ally had a wee word before the press briefing "Don't forget to mention "our history" as much as you can , just in case somebody tries to tell you we're a Newco" ?
  19. Martians? You have to be feckin jokin!!! Little green men. Feckin terriers the lot of them .
  20. I thought it was just me that found that scrawny wee git unfunny. Now I realise he probably got the gig on a very funny handshake, that's the only thing about him that I would find funny.
  21. From today's Daily The Ranger Coisty slams Scots boss for leaving Gers left-back out of squad McCOIST said: “I would argue we’ll have a better quality of player here at Murray Park than some of the boys in the Scotland squad." ALLY MCCOIST last night took a swipe at Craig Levein’s decision to make Lee Wallace a Scotland outcast. Rangers’ drop into the Third Division saw the full-back dropped yesterday from the national squad to face Australia in a friendly at Easter Road next week. And McCoist can’t accept the logic behind that omission. He said: “I feel sorry for the Scotland fans more than anyone else. “The fact Lee’s now in the Third Division shouldn’t close the international door on him. “I would argue we’ll have a better quality of player here at Murray Park than some of the boys in the Scotland squad. “Don’t rule my players out just because they’re in the Third Division.” McCoist insisted he wasn’t launching a personal attack on Levein while mounting a defence of Wallace. He added: “I’m not going to criticise Craig because he’s got a hard job to do. “He picks the squad and sees who the best squad is. But if you’re asking me if I think Lee’s good enough to play for Scotland then my answer is yes.’” Levein explained the reasoning behind Wallace’s exclusion. He said: “It was a tough decision. We’ve put a performance system in place and one of the key components is this best v best thing when you’re testing yourself every week at a high level. “The whole idea behind it is that it’s not such a big jump when you step into international football. “I’ve made my decision and it’s not my job to give players advice on where to play their club football.” So, Craig's saying "If you want to play for Scotland, I'm not telling you where to play your football (but I'm saying DON'T play it in the 3rd Division in Scotland)"
  22. Tesco doing meals in a bag for 2 for £3.40-odd, half price. But hold on, their colours are red, white and blue, damn, that boycott can be a bugger at times. Just have to be a chippy for me. On a wee aside, apropos the above, http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/red-faces-as-tesco-chiefs-book-1042330
  23. If you've read some of my posts, you'll give me a wee bit of credit on that. To think I would contribute even 1/1000th of a penny to Jabba's wage packet. On-line, just a wee scan daily to give me ammo to wind up the punters (berrs) at work.
  24. I have to mention the classic non-story from today's Daily Ranger (in "transfer talk" of all things) ---Bedoya to remain a Ger. WTF, how in the name of the wee man is that a transfer, surely it's exactly the opposite, it's a non-transfer. What a shower of shite, just to get another The Rangers story in the paper rag.
