Cracking day at the darts yesterday. Lost my pals after the afternoon session so had a walk round to Winter Gardens and the guys on the door accepted my stamp on my hand from earlier so got a free do. Once on there I had no seat (obviously with not having a ticket) so walked round to the side where players wives sit and sat down with the bloke who plays Kevin Webster on Corrie (Mike I think he said his name was). Good bloke, got a round in. Had a chat with the tarts who walk the players out as well and went out to a bar with them after the darts. Didn't finger any of them though unfortunately.

Just read if Taylor wins this he's on at night along with Lewis. If Taylor somehow gets beat Wade match will be in evening and Jones vs.Newton/Pipe will be afternoon.

Long shot but nobody needs spare couple of tickets for tomorrow afternoon for a pal maybe? Couple of lads who were due to go with us have bailed at the last minute.

I had a bet last night on the darts but didn't check the prices - about what will my treble of Barney, Nicholson and Wade pay? I stuck £20 on it so i'm guessing around £40-£45 back - did anyone see the prices? I know Wade was around 1/5 and Barney 1/3. Missed the Nicholson one though - 1/2 i'd guess around there?

Staying in a cheap b&b on the front there about 5 minutes walk from Winter Gardens. There's a pub called The Castle we always go for a drink in after the afternoon session and we watch the evening games on a big screen. Usually that pissed I have to check the result of the last game in the morning though even though I have watched it. There's usually a few lads down from Scotland yeah, they seem to do the same thing we do and go in The Castle after the afternoon session is over. You might want to check that out if you've nothing else planned.

Seems there's a small handful of folk going Blackpool next Friday - if anyone fancies a quick pint when its not your turn to hold your spot in the queue give us a shout on here and I can meet my first Pie and Bovril member!

Thanks guys. Couple of mates can only manage that week so i'm stuck with that one. Just had a look on the teletext one and they look to be around £280 for the cheapest which I guess isn't so bad. Just want a shit hole to sleep in for a good week on the booze.

What are the best websites to find a cheap holiday? I've searched one or two but they are throwing up £300-£400 for a week in a shitty hotel in Tenerife. Is that the goig rate these days or will there be better deals? Its mid August (13th) i'd be looking at.
