I'm quite looking forward to The Hobbit as I w**k off over LOTR. However, i'm not too sure how they are going to get two movies worth out of the book. I thought they'd struggle doing one!

Sat watching Eastenders on Friday night with a few pals (I know, I know) and everyone but one person said "Appy birfday dad" just as Ben was about to deliver the line.

Schindler's List I thought the film was done very well. Goeth was played very well by Ralph Fiennes. The part at the end when Schindler breaks down talking about the gold ring and his car which he could have traded was quite moving. A couple of parts in the film I didn't fully understand what they were trying to get at - the officer screaming next to the burning corpses was one of these. Was he going mad at the sight of it? Why did he start shooting at the bodies? The film lasted a little bit too long and I was growing impatient after about 2 hours 30 minutes (think it lasted something like 3 hours 15 minutes in total). I'd give it an 8/10.

Hobo with a Shotgun Quite a fun film with some hideous deaths in it. Can anyone tell me what i've heard the song off at the end credits please? I was thinking The Racoons but I may be way off! 7.5/10 for the film.

Don't bother watching this film. It makes a mockery of the book! With regards to your comments, here's what happens at the end.....

I've just purchased Lord of the Flies (1990). I read the back and it says something like 'A group of American kids get stuck on an island' - what!? I thought it was about a ring and elves?? But joking aside, it angered me saying about the Americans when it was English lads.

Primal I think was thr name of the movie I watched last night. It started at about midnight on Film4 so I thought i'd give it a shot whilst I became tired. It was about some Aussie 20 somethings searching the outback for some old paintings on a wall. There's some mysterious cave which they pass through where the paintings are and then strange events start happening. The film was garbage. I'll not bother going into the plot because it kept changing. There was a scene where a plant monster shagged a woman though. What have I seen that on before? Two points gained for some tits and two women using the word 'c**t'. 2/10

Seems i've been paying too much Council tax - anyone know how long it takes to refund it? I've had a letter through saying they owe me about £300. Is it a case of going down to the offices and they'll put it in my bank in a couple of days or is it a long, drawn out process and i'll be lucky to get it back this year?

I notice Vanessa wad mugged wearing 'that suit' - maybe it will have been wrecked on the damp floor.
