Another painfully slow episode this week.

I tried watching one of the newer episodes a couple of nights ago. It's probably the first time I've turned the tv over to find something else whilst The Simpsons is on. I believe it was the first one of the current series. The intro and couch gag ran for over 3 minutes which pissed me off, then the opening half before the adverts when it eventually started, I didn't find anything amusing.

Their fans were a set of bell ends when I saw them. I think it was their first season and they played at the town I live in. They brought quite a lot with them and they were just queue jumping in the boozers like they owned the place and putting stickers everywhere saying something like 'f**k the Glaziers'. All over shop windows, lamp posts etc, they were everywhere! A couple of blokes in their 40's started on an old guy when he was just trying to make conversation asking them about what it was like following a completely new team.

I watched The Wanderers after reading the above posts. I quite enjoyed it despite not knowing exactly what genre it was meant to me going for (coming-of-age, comedy, action or a mixture)!?

I watched a film called Rudderless the other night. A man loses his son and after the funeral he finds a box with his sons musical recordings in it and he goes on to form a band using the material. I thought it was brilliant. Good soundtrack too. 9.5/10. Edit - it's available on Netflix if anyone is interested.

Quick question which is not worth starting a new thread for in the travel forum or anything. On a stag do in Magaluf in a couple of days for a week. Anyone been recently with a rough idea of what the costs are like? Not been since 2008 so I guess it's gone up a bit since then! Don't need to budget or anything, just wondering how much cash I should be looking at getting changed before going over? We're just in a shitty self catering so would need to include meals & that. £700/ £800 sound about right?
