  1. A simple "Mon the Lok now" would have sufficed.
  2. Why is almost everything you post completely imaginary?
  3. That's a bit weird. Each to their own I suppose.
  4. It means Talbot and Darvel will be playing each other a LOT in a short period. In a way it helps Talbot by giving us extra rest before Saturday against Beith. In a more obvious way it's a massive pain in the hoop having to accommodate the rescheduled fixture.
  5. I'd prefer if people would refrain from allowing their common sense to interfere with my conspiracy theory. Thank you.
  6. Why do I get the feeling that there will be a late postponement that causes Talbot and their fans as much hassle as possible?
  7. I taped the Scotland game. if anyone wants a loan of the video drop me a DM.
  8. I like that they don't give people cancer. That's a big green tick in the "pro's" column.
  9. Wouldn't get this shite in the Lowland League.
  10. Benburb 3 Arthurlie 2 Troon 1 Clydebank 1 Kilbirnie 1 Drumchapel 1 Wishaw 1 Caledonian Loco 2 Bellshill Ath 3 Greenock 0 Lugar 3 Royal Albert 1
  11. The majority wanted to stick with him on here I think. Maybe one or two Talbot posters tops didn't. I like watching us more this season than at any time last season when I think we were fairly stale and predictable. It's good to see a new group pop up around the old heads and play the way they have. I think opponents are still trying to suss us out. The wheels could come off in the next few games but it's brilliant just to be in the race.
  12. Define "a lot", because I can't think of many. Even if we'd been relegated I still don't think the majority would have wanted him gone, he's a legend and a well appreciated one at that. There was a decent amount of chat on here from other fans looking in with the prevalent narrative being that Talbot were being overtaken by the self-styled "ambitious" teams, and that sticking with Tucker was due to Talbot's reluctance to cut ties with the Junior era and we were on the decline. Anyway, the main thing from Talbot's point of view is that at the moment they seem to have been proven wrong and whether we win anything this season or not we have a competitive and exciting team on the pitch (which is as much as anyone can reasonably ask for).
  13. I thought we pulled ourselves together pretty well after the poor opening to the second half. St Cadocs were looking like the team with the momentum at that point. Four points from our next two games wouldn't be the end of the world but we're playing well enough overall to go into these matches confident.
  14. The £40/£20 plan sounds good to me. Happy to go with whatever the majority think.
  15. he has a cracking attitude to the dirty work stuff. he's as hard-working a forward as you'll ever see but as you say, it keeps him away from goalscoring positions
  16. Maximum points achievable (number of games left to play in brackets) Beith - 70 (10) Talbot - 68 (10) Darvel - 62 (9) Hurlford - 61 (11) St Cadocs, Clydebank - 60 (7), (4) Pollok, Benburb - 57 (7), (6). Can't really see anyone outside of Beith, Talbot, and Darvel winning it now but stranger things have happened. Darvel need to beat Talbot in midweek to have a decent shout, and that would probably be the result Beith are hoping for too.
  17. Folk on here had him as a washed up yesterday's man earlier in the season. Mental!
  18. Definitely a well deserved win aye. Better team for most of the game but St Cadocs were dangerous and to be fair they're as difficult an opponent as we've faced in a while.
