All you do is deflection, you know what deflection is, don't ya?

You never responded about the comments of the post expect for being personal again, thats all you do

Last time you said it was lies, because I said it then others came out with posts from other posts, other apps  from comments he made but I'm the one making it up lolol

I said, the man in question said to me and others that, 'The pyramid is dead, The only real cup is the Junior cup and the SCC is weak/nonsense' and the reasoning behind it was false and trumpt up which I challenged him on it, in front of the others which he flapped.
I've no reason to make it up, all other accusations and proofs of other, similar things he has said is there for you to see from other posts on here and suppose it backs what I've said up but I don't need backed up as I was there listening to what he was saying to me and others.  I will say that he did not say to me or the others, 'I want teams to revert back to the juniors', there was no mention /  comments of any kind regarding that.  His comments were about the Pyramid, the Scottish junior cup and the Scottish Challenge Cup..

I think you've just wore me down.

    I also think you're a complete fantasist.

    Was not from me.

Not my fault this loonball makes a fool of you many times over and thus you dislike me that much to try and put down whenever you can, especially when it goes against your narrative, that's your prerogative as you usually need your pals to lick your arse, opps i mean wounds for backing 😷

A lot of words wasted (some were even in English) if you don't care what I think. The loonball protesteth too much.

If I read that comment on Facebook, i'd probably take it as a tongue in cheek comment and not as the first marks of a dictatorship

I didn't want to say that originally as I'd be accused of being an appologist for him but you have to consider that was a possibility.

  4. A Facebook post isn't exactly the smoking gun I was anticipating but its something I suppose. It's hardly a manifesto for change is it?

An explanation of how this amounts to Junior Takeover or any of the other pearl clutching shite that has been mooted on this thread would be great.

A guy who openly stated he wanted to “change it back” to the Juniors is pretty factual I’d have thought.

Your club are one of his proposers.

Was that one of the quotes that we were expected to take the word of the sliced bread loonball about? I'm not saying he didn't say it but I don't think it's unreasonable to ask for a higher standard of verification than that and maybe even a wee bit of context. You prefer to obfuscate though so we're unlikely to get anywhere with that.

Whether Talbot proposed it or not doesn't really make a difference to my opinion and I'm certainly not included in any of the decisions or juicy bits of information. My opinion is my own and is open to change based on new information or compelling arguments. That is why it's not moved an inch when talking to yourself.

Not sure it's batshit mental to point out the possibility of ulterior motives at play should the CEO of the SJFA also become Chairman of the WoSFL.

If course it's not but the thread started off on a hysterical footing ("Junior Takeover" no less) and only got more absurd as it went on.

I'd be genuinely interested in facts but what we've had is a slew of made up quotes, fevered paranoid ramblings, and vague innuendo, all delivered with a liberal seasoning of petted lips and red dots.

There's no point in trying to have a good faith discussion when that's what you're faced with.

I'm very much pro-pyramid but what this place has is a zealot fringe who just stamp their wee feet whenever there's any sort of deviation from their agenda. It's a debate that has long since died on its arse due to folk losing perspective of balance and reality due to their increasingly entrenched positions.

But it wont be the final. It very much looks like both semi finals should be very well attended. Whoever gets to the final I reckon will be at least 3,000 at Cumbernauld -although St Mirren Park / Rugby Park would have been a far better option this season with teams involved in my opinion.

Remember that you're dealing with the guy who was crying foul because Talbot had the audacity to use fairly won prize money to sign players earlier in the thread.

Some other nuggets of hysteria on the thread include a shadowy Putin-esque junior takeover of the pyramid and compulsory participation in the Junior Cup.

All completely grounded in reality and in no way batshit mental.

We’re raffling off places in the team for a charity match, id have us do the same for the junior cup if it was made mandatory, there’d be some excellent tantrums from the folks giving us grief.

I'm more interested in why a complete pie in the sky notion like this is actually being discussed on n the first place when it's never ever going to happen.

It's becoming harder to distinguish the tongue in cheek from the downright hysterical on this topic.

I personally don't see a valid reason to red dot, if you don't agree with a post have a proper discussion.

I like yer man possil myself. I enjoy his big stick stirring posts, keeps posters on their toes for me. I know he goes to games around like a mini groundhopper, so for me that entitles him to his opinions, don't always agree but would feel I'd enjoy a chat if we ever meet up.

He's not the worst, I think someone shat in his Easter Egg or something.

If you are trying for a world record, I am happy to red dot all your posts if you like. Nothing personal purely for science. 😉

It is a matter of supreme indifference to me either way.

I just wonder if folk think that doing it somehow progresses their position or diminishes mine. It always seems like a toys out of the pram indicator as much as anything.

Wee mad PossilYM gave me about 10 in 2 minutes the other day. That's the esteemed company that the red dotters are in.

Seriously if any clubs don't want to be a part of the pyramid then that is their democratic right, but do the decent thing and go set up your own league and call it whatever you want. Stop sabotaging the set up for those clubs that want to be a part of the pyramid.

Why be a part of something you constantly belittle. Makes no sense.

Remind me why only certain views should be represented again? There's no chance of anyone returning to the junior days so maybe it's time for people to stop parroting that line on here at every opportunity. The former Junior sides didn't sign up for the pyramid on the basis that they had to set aside their own interests and align unconditionally with a certain set of values. Every team from top to bottom in any league structure will ultimately act in their own interests above the interests of the pyramid FFS.

Also, as an aside merely saying the words "progressive" and "ambitious" all the time does not endow the speaker or club they support with moral superiority or any sort of insight.

Yeh punch was thrown, really poor officiating and I feel the referee bottled it. Felt he was eager to book some lesser tackles and some real nasty ones (one from each team) were let go.

Both teams did well in windy conditions and the pie was utterly incredible, much better than the rubbish we have at Newlandsfield.

Good luck for the rest of the season.

Were the Donner meat pies on the menu? I hate myself for loving those wee belters.

  13. Can't really grumble about the outcome because Pollok kept going with ten men when the game was starting to look unassailable.

Talbot were playing into the wind in the second half so maybe the players were drained by that but it was like someone flicked a switch after the red card and from a position of complete control and playing smartly for the conditions, we stopped playing.

I didn't see the incident with the Pollok player going down in the first half but Talbot fans in earshot all thought we'd got off with one there.

I fucking detest penalty shootouts. When a player misses and a retake is ordered you just know he's going to miss it again. 😀

Good luck to Pollok in the final, I'd prefer you won it to Darvel ( no harm to SBA but it's going to be them isn't it).
