Our board will look at surviving in the league, but maybe in a more respectable position than last season without the added stress of being dragged into a relegation dogfight, as a successful season.

I'd be chuffed to bits if we managed to snap up Conroy and Wighton.

Two more imminent eh? I assume this will be the defender and striker that was talked about in the FFP. If you assume Anderson resigns and we snap up a defender and striker then it's just left mid that's outstanding really. If the striker ends up not being Spence I'd still keep him as an option.

Spence needs a suitable partner up top as well as a regular run out in a team. He missed an open goal against Annan in our Ramsdens Cup semi final and to me this is when his confidence started to go downhill last season. I still have this feeling he'll resign for us unless Murray has alternative striker options lined up. We only have one 'official' striker signed at the moment.

Hoping Murray has learnt some valuable lessons from last season. Our team was shaping up nicely this time last year and Murray has once again done well with who he's brought in thus far. Bigger squad and competition for places is encouraging and something we've lacked for years. Just a real pity that we couldn't hold onto Cardle and Baird with the way the squad is coming together at the moment.

The article on our site mentioned this newbie verbally agreeing to a deal and would sign when he returned from holiday so would be surprised if it was Conroy as, from what I'm lead to believe, he still has a year left on his contract at Dundee.

Robinson got a lot of unnecessary stick from Rovers fans which clearly didn't go unheard going by his post match interview after the Rangers cup game. Wouldn't surprise me at all if it was a case that he didn't want to re-sign and I don't blame him.
