There's no guarantee Spence would even get the first team football he's wanting as Murray really needs to bring in a couple of new faces to play upfront. We've only got one recognised striker officially signed. I still reckon Spence will be away.

That's now how I'm reading it. See posts #62 and #85 from the same poster in their thread.

If you have a wee nosey into the Cowden thread there's talk of Spence and Dougie maybe heading there.

With an increased budget and the fact we've probably offloaded a couple of high earners I'd be really surprised if Murray sticks with Spence, Smith, Elliot as our only strikers.

I really can't see us not re-signing Dougie which then begs the question of Watson maybe being offski as neither of those 3 CB (Barr, Dougie, Watson) would ideally want to be a bench warmer for the season. Most teams in the division are unknown quantities at the moment so we really haven't a clue what the standard will be like with the opposition. For all we known Cowdenbeath might do a Dumbarton next season and we might do a Morton.
