  1. Who else is waiting with the same mixture of excitement and dread?
  2. I loved this game when I was a kid. I need to get it again. Will it run on a Mac?
  3. I'm camping in the carpark tonight. Will let you all know what happens xx
  4. I have no love for Auchinleck Talbot (or Junior football in general), but they are an organised and settled unit with a lot of hardworking players who know how to get a result, and they have an astute manager in Tommy Sloan. A lot of our fans underestimated Talbot when we played them, but I definitely didn't. By halftime I knew we wouldn't win.
  5. Was it mentioned that it was mentioned that it was someone who has been mentioned in the press?
  6. I have a feeling that the appointment is going to be someone who we haven't heard mentioned on here or in the press.
  7. I know, right? I'm about to sneak into their house and kill them with an axe.
  8. I loved Sheerin as a player. I was genuinely gutted when he left us for Aberdeen, and there have been very few occasions were I was saddened to see a player leave.
  9. The reality is that we are either going to get a manager/coach with experience but some black marks on their CV or someone completely untested at this level. Sometimes things don't work out for whatever reason. The experienced managers being linked with the job, even if not necessarily an inspiring list of names, have been doing something right at some point in their managerial careers. Just because they might have failed somewhere else, it doesn't mean that they will fail with us. Someone who knows what they're doing, doesn't make drastic changes to our style of play and can recognise the strengths and weaknesses of the squad would probably suffice.
  10. A decent player on his day but hardly irreplaceable, as there are plenty of younger and better options.
  11. He didn't do much wrong, but then again he didn't get much of an opportunity to do anything right or wrong as we were scudded up the other end of the park. At the other end of the scale, scoring against San Marino is hardly an accurate measurement of being able to play at that level. We could have assembled a team of players from the Junior leagues and still scudded San Marino last night. Our centre backs were absolutely rag dolled and outmuscled in Moscow on Thursday night, and in general have been terrible for a while now. As good as Belgium and Russia are, most of the goals we conceded against them owed a bit more to defensive incompetence than to the quality of the opposition. It's time to try other options, and Caulker would be better than what we've got right now. If he's playing well, I'd be happy for him to get a chance.
  12. I loved Murphy as a player so would be delighted if it was him.
  13. Now that you mention it, my brother is gay and he always buys Apple products. Coincidence? I think not.
  14. Alan Forrest is one of the best players in the world at the moment and fully deserves his award.
  15. I informed my friend that she was getting cheated on. It didn't go down very well. It was common knowledge tbh. She was just oblivious to it.
  16. I thought that we offered Reid a new contract but he decided to move on. Maybe it was the right time for him to go, but replacing him with Mark Roberts was the mistake.
  17. Someone else mentioned McCoist on Facebook, and funnily enough he was not even the worst candidate to be linked with the job. Still an "Absolutely Not" from me though. There aren't many exciting names being linked with the job, but I think Sandy Stewart should get it anyway. If there is a time for continuity and stability it is now while the team is going in the right direction. Positive results today and in the following two games (ICT and Dunfermline) should see Stewarts' appointment become a formality - assuming that he wants the job of course. As I write this we have just gone 2-0 up.
