Scotland v England 150th year anniversary match
Central Belt Caley replied to Utdtillidie2's topic in Tartan Army Ramblings
A few times early on Rashford managed to get across him, he seemed to dive in very easily but improved as the game went on so I’m probably being slightly harsh. There was one where he basically took out Bellingham and if it hadn’t been offside earlier in the phase of play I’d reckon they’d have had a penalty -

Others might’ve seen it differently but felt Gilmour was the best of the midfield 4 so why he came off first I had no idea. Mcgregor and Mcginns worst games in a Scotland top that I can remember. Been a big fan of Porteous but he seemed to freeze a little and jump into tackles a little too readily. Robertson was poor first half too, but improved in second half. After all the good results/performances a poor one was always on the horizon but for so many not to turn up on the same night was disappointing. -

Must be a thing for women of a certain age, I was back staying at my parents for a few days last week while my bathroom was being done. Every cupboard is like a game of fucking Jenga. Had a good laugh though, she said “we don’t use the George Foreman grill often, too much hassle getting it out” I open the cupboard and every single piece of Tupperware she owns is stacked on top of it -

I remember Deas, Broadfoot and Carson turning round and celebrating in front of the stand behind the goals and there was some definitely some heads gone reactions that day -

Can’t quite put my finger on it myself The 3-2 game a few seasons back where Logan Chalmers scored twice and you had 2 men sent off was fantastic viewing, Colin Steven had a shocker that day (and has had numerous since). -

Usually like a visit to Starks park but not going to another game while Dodds is still in charge, not wasting any more hard earned watching our defence play like morons -
If we played with wingers I’d imagine he’d possibly start but I don’t see a position for him in our current system. Unless he’s fancying playing wing back or as one of the two advanced midfielders. Every possibility we move to a system with wingers with the emergence of Ben Doak but that could be a while off given Doak is still 17(?) and there’s no guarantee he’ll continue to get better.

That’s grounds for divorce IMO -
There was once a guy who got his escape plan tattooed all over his body and got himself sent to prison in an attempt to save his brother from the electric chair. Part of his plan was to make the prison doctor fall in love with him

It can be a bit shite being single sometimes but reading through this thread knocks any feelings like that on the head. Much appreciated lads you’re doing the lords work -

That sounds absolutely brutal, least you didn’t make that mistake off Cruachan as the pull up to that summit feels like it’s never ending! The visitor centre does look good, wouldn’t have been an enjoyable experience if I had went yesterday. Reckon my clothes could’ve walked themselves home last night. -

I was gonna ask one of my mates to come with me and I’m glad I didn’t know as he’d have hated the descent. The big rocks weren’t great and I kinda just slid down them on my arse Aye the guy knew so much about mountains and hillwalking, it was a lot to take in. They done a full round in just about 2 years they said after the first lockdown ended they started their round and were out every weekend for almost a year straight. Absolute nutters but they were great company. -

My ex was a vet nurse and worked at a PDSA for a bit and there was a guy with a French Bulldog (might’ve got that wrong) that was pregnant and he took the dog in for some routine stuff/medication. He was bragging that he was going to “punt” the puppies for close to a grand each making over 5 grand in total for the full litter. Didn’t contribute anything towards the time/work provided for his pregnant dog though and had no intention of doing so when his “earnings” came in. Don’t get me wrong, I think it’s great there’s such a thing as the PDSA but like almost everything there’s a way to game the system. -

Off work on holiday this week and seen the weather forecast for today was blue skies and sunshine I headed for Ben Cruachan and Stob Daimh, had these on my to do list for a while (totally not because the dam was used in filming Andor). The climb started straight from the car park and was treated to a cracking view over Loch Awe Broke out of the trees and got my first sight of the Dam The climb upto Cruachan felt like it was never ending but I was treated to some absolutely stunning views when I got there. Could see for miles in all directions. A few sketchy bits on the ridge over to Stob Daimh (Diamh?) required full concentration but safely over to the next summit. And looking back at Cruachan was a treat Slightly tougher day than I expected and the descent after coming off the top Stob Garbh was brutal, few boggy patches and had to deduce a bypass route. Went through close to 3 litres of water/juice due to the heat. Barely seen anyone due to it being midweek, not sure how popular these 2 are at the weekend but would highly recommend on a clear day. -
Sorry should’ve been clearer meant the dual carriageways between Perth and Inverness Soon as I hit Dunblane the cruise control goes on at 75 until I hit Broxden roundabout
-
I think the average speed cameras only work on the single carriageways or they certainly used to. I’ve done a fair speed on the Drumochter stretch a few times and never had anything through the post

That’s my fear, all this hype and build up and I’m scared it won’t even come close. That being said, when was the last time Rockstar had a flop?

After saying when I got my PS5 I wouldn’t go near GTA 5 after completing it on the previous 2 console generations, I picked up a copy for £20 a few weeks back. Surprised at how much I forgot or remembered but had different bits much later/earlier. It still stands up even though it’s 10 years old this year. Slightly disappointing that 6 still isn’t here or even announced, I was in 6th year at school when 5 came out
