  1. Haven't seen him play since he left QP, but surprised he seems not to have gelled at Alloa. Great positioning, reliable, consistent and I would think a great signing for Stenny.
  2. Despite supplying my email address and getting confirmation that it was on file for ticketing and renewals, I'm still waiting. I called and they said they would get back to me today, but now the office is closed. I'll try again tomorrow, but it all seems terribly un-organised. If I don't get any progress I'll maybe check with you to see if it's still available thanks?
  3. I would agree. EVERY Salim Kouider-Aïssa goal from the 2019-2020 Season! - YouTube
  4. Oh, and Wullie Muir just gets better and better.
  5. An encouraging performance from a squad with a few notable absences. Pleased to see Morrison looked solid, and Brown seems a great fit for the team. A bit odd not to go with a bigger squad and spread the minutes about.
  6. I would have thought Carroll would suit this role. Disappointed to see him go, I thought he was MOTM contender for pretty much every game he played.
  7. Agreed. I see also Joe Cardle has been released from Thistle.
  8. Some signs of progress when I passed yesterday.
  9. Could be 3 or 4 not happy - time will tell . Yes, I kind of saw the sense in starting League 1 with momentum and the core of an established winning team. It's a bold move. Onwards and upwards, with thanks to Ray.
  10. I've liked what I've seen of Connor Sammon, but I have to take everybody's word for it, he's not universally rated.
  11. I agree with all of An86' post with the exception of Baynham and Lyon. I'm probably wrong, but has anyone a higher goal count per minutes actually played (Salim maybe)? Would also be good to secure Connell again. What's the thoughts on Salim?
  12. Reckless and sloppy from QP, but understandable given the situation and a 16 point lead to the end of the season. Well done to Elgin, who look back to their most dangerous. Kane Hester the best striker in the league, no argument.
  13. I don't get the eight changes thing. Ok it was eight changes from the line up of the last match, but apart from Mullen and Biggar, the rest were first team regulars that have all had plenty of starts throughout the season.
  14. Stranraer sharper and first to everything. Laughable goal to concede and we were lucky not to lose by more, but who cares. Robson and Maclean best for me, but the ref trying hard to draw all the attention. So that's Murray, Grant, Quitongo and Mullen all taken off that pitch injured in the last 10 days without any other player contact. Probably coincidence, but remarkable all the same.
  15. I think City are most likely to win the play-offs. Been so close for a number of years, but the team is very strong and consistent.
  16. Yes you're absolutely right, and the ones scoffing know themselves that they would not turn down that good fortune to do exactly the same thing. Some suggest the team assembled is overkill for League 2, but it's entirely the right way to start the build of a team to compete at higher levels. I also don't see any evidence of recklessness. most people will point at our manager, but so-far-so-good, and I'd rather we have someone with experience that has maybe learned from mistakes along the way. I think though that JMDP was possibly referring to the stop-start, shortened season and lack of fans as soulless, rather than taking a pop?
  17. Wullie Muir and Morrison really impressive for me, on a night where Elgin looked their old selves and QP a bit jaded. Great scenes at the end and a pity none of us could be there, but the team spirit the most encouraging thing for next season.
