  1. Never mind that. I want to know what sinister Hindu organisation has taken control of the UK and why is nobody even talking about it.
  2. That is one way to look at it. I still think the Tory Party is the natural home for Major, Patten, Clarke, Heseltine and so on. I think Labour are being opportunistic. Similar to why Vodafone and 02 have their stores next door to each other, Labour are man marking the Tories to scoop up anyone is just a sliver to the left of the Tories. Unfortunately that leads to the entire Overton window moving to the right and right-wing issues and positions dominating the headlines.
  3. They also go on to Star Trek forums to say they prefer Star Wars.
  4. When John Major speaks, I am perfectly happy to hear what he has to say. I might not agree with him but I know he is capable of expressing his opinion without trying to provoke anyone. Similarly Chris Patten, Michael Heseltine and many others. I regard them as "mainstream" Tories who are genuinely trying to address the issues of the day albeit with Conservative solutions. This is in stark contrast to the current garbage that are always provocative, trying to whip up the mob, blame "others" and divert attention away from themselves. That is what I call "Toxic". Not all Tories are toxic but a lot are. The Reform Party is even worse.
  5. Yes I would like to think so. Although I never vote Tory, I accept that some people like small government, low taxes and other right wing ideas. If the Tories were a typical mainstream right wing party, that would be one thing. Unfortunately they have morphed into a populist hate filled isolationist anti-woke, culture wars dominated collection of charlatans that should never be in charge of anything. Even so, I actually think CS approves of that and would like to see more of it.
  6. If by this, you mean the Tories jettison their worst elements and become a less toxic and more mainstream party then maybe so. However I suspect that is not what you mean.
  7. Haiti would be in better shape if not for the horrendous treatment by other countries, especially France and the USA, France allowed the revolt as long as they still got their money. Haiti was forced to pay a staggering amount to France. https://www.npr.org/sections/money/2021/10/05/1042518732/-the-greatest-heist-in-history-how-haiti-was-forced-to-pay-reparations-for-freed Also, Haiti was boycotted by other countries that still had slavery. In the USA, slaves accounted for 57% of the population in South Carolina and Mississippi was similar. The last thing they wanted was for Haiti to be a success.
  8. Will there be time to invite him on to a Question Time Special to explain his decision?
  9. I notice the trip involved a flight to Belfast. I recall a time when that might have involve somebody at a security desk asking you the reason for your trip. Interesting to imagine how that conversation might have gone.
  10. Russia as well. This meant the October Revolution actually took place in November.
  11. On top of Blueberry Hill singing Strawberry Fields Forever.
  12. If there are then @ICTChris will put them right.
  13. Rwanda had a genocide in 1994 and more than a million died. That was followed by the First Congo War where Rwanda was very much involved. That was followed by the Second Congo War which also saw Rwanda involved. I think you should stop using Braverman Taxis.
  14. Reboot also plays homage to this
  15. Oh dear. Another mirror universe episode of Star Trek, was it?
  16. Jimmy Carter falls ill during trip to Samoa. Is that Samoa or American Samoa? I don't know. American Samoa I guess. Are you sure? No I am not. Point is Thoughts and Prayers don't you agree? Yes. No. Sort of. Look can you tell me is it Samoa or American Samoa. I need to know. Not going to tell you. You are weird.
  17. Without question, it is most absolutely not a normal thing to brush your teeth in the staff bathroom after lunch. Appalling dental hygiene. Totally unacceptable and that is the end of the matter. Brushing your teeth in the staff bathroom BEFORE lunch would definitely be better.
  18. Brexit encouraged them. People who voted Leave because they are racist probably assumed all other Leave voters are racist and thus their views are more mainstream than they originally thought.
  19. These people were always there. Previously they were regarded as oddballs who admired Enoch Powell and you were unlucky if you ever found you had to talk to any of them. Nowadays, especially after Brexit, their views are more often heard and they are shown more respect than they ever deserved. I suspect MSM is largely to blame, especially down in England. There are a number of newspaper owners who probably lean more towards the Reform Party but realise that only the Tories are electable. Every time some right-wing populist has anything to say, in the UK, the USA or Europe, they get far more coverage and encouragement than they should.
  20. Traditionally it was Australia. Probably quite nice at this time of year. "Oh look I took this chewing gum from the shop and forgot to pay for it." If after a few weeks I do the same again over there will they send me back? That would be good.
  21. Look forward to one of Farage's kids being deported to Germany because they failed to notice a two-for-one sale had finished and they walked out of the shop without paying for the second item.
  22. Globalism, Socialism and the Liberal Establishment are responsible for all the wobbly tables in the world, so if this book can be used to sort out all of them in the next ten years then job well done I would say.
