  1. Memo to all Refer to them as William and Robert from now on. cc: All
  2. The point of minutes is to take note of any discussion that required an action to be taken. "Re. Parking. Contact Bob." "Okay. Did anyone contact Bob?" "Yes. He said speak to Bill." "Re. Parking. Contact Bill."
  3. The great thing about the European Union is that it dramatically reduced the number of mad dictators in Europe who would feel the need to go to war with their neighbours. Mad dictators are like that.
  4. Man loses some money and decides to kill the one person offering to help him get it back.
  5. On the other hand I saw him in World War Z and would definitely see him as an expert in the event of a global zombie attack.
  6. In years gone by, it was music papers and especially the NME. Any musician who played decent music would be asked their opinion on everything. At the same time, if they didn't like your music then they didn't care about your opinion on anything.
  7. Maybe, but if you are young enough then you see these people as role models, you envy their ability to perform, especially if you are too nervous or talentless to do likewise. It is nice when their opinion is similar to your own. At the same time it is frustrating when your favourite Hollywood star has the most appalling opinions on everything.
  8. Time Lapse is a great film about three flatmates who find a camera that can take a photograph of tomorrow. Ìt is available on Amazon Prime.
  9. Extraordinary to think there is somebody who doesn't know about the two world wars and yet one day he will be king.
  10. Daily #25 sedecordle.com #sedecordle
  11. This would be easier if there was some songs I actually know.
  12. Little known fact - Palladium absorbs more hydrogen than any other element. Therefore, and it is obvious, there will be people out there with a whole bunch of hydrogen saying "oh shit, what do we do now?" Have any of you spared a thought for them? I doubt it. Life is brutal.
  13. For goodness sake. Mothballs won't be any use against excess radiation. A huge concrete sarcophagus was what they used.
  14. Are you referring to bingo halls? If so, I am not that bothered.
  15. It occurs to me that Russia must have its own share of gammons who yearn for the good old days - when you couldn't travel anywhere, you couldn't buy western goods except on the black market and you had to queue for hours to buy anything. They must be loving this.
  16. So the countries that accepted the Russian Sputnik V vaccine for Covid are less critical of the Russian invasion. Interesting.
  17. "Have you got a twenty? I'll give it straight back. Just need to know if I am fit enough to go to work. No, a tenner won't do. It needs to be twenty. Oh and would you happen to have a rake as well."
  18. Wow. I am better at six letters words (compared to five). Need to put that on my C.V. Wordle2 97 2/6 #wordle2 #peace https://www.wordle2.in
  19. If you are referring to a show that gets better, the term "grow the beard" is used. No idea where it comes from.
  20. I remember a friend who had a similar problem with Yugoslavia. In WW2, the Croats were allied with the Nazis while Serbia was not. Therefore, he believed Serbia could do no wrong whereas Croats would quickly turn into Nazis given half a chance. In short, he refused to accept that Milosovic was a warmonger who wasn't remotely interested in communism or socialism or anything at all except staying in power and controlling as much territory as possible.
