I get Celtic and Rangers fans are keen to make things a little more interesting for themselves, but this isn't competition in the true sense of the word at the best of times. This isn’t the best of times for Hearts. A routine home win is overwhelmingly likely.

Based on Spurs' history – they last finished as high as fourth AND won a major trophy more than 40 years ago – that'd be an exceptional season. Finishing third in itself would be a very good achievement, they haven't done that for a few seasons. I'll predict they'll be top four at the very least, wouldn't be surprised if they finish third or higher, and they've got as good a chance as most in the FA Cup.

Some interesting points but the guy's voice is so monotone it becomes unlistenable.

It seemed obvious to me that Postecoglou would do well down there, the only thing that took me a bit by surprise is how quickly Spurs adapted to his methods. But then I suppose better players leads to them picking it up quicker. I think they'll do very well this season.

I was also offered a free ticket for the game and declined on the basis a 200 mile drive with my kids in the back would be more unpredictable and fun. I was right. We've now reached the point where I'd need to be paid to go to a home game against Celtic. It's just so boring. On the broader point, I agree. Hearts need an experienced manager who realises we're unlikely to master the possession-based football Neilson and now Naismith are trying to instill. I'm not advocating hoofball, but a little realism wouldn't go amiss. Playing a midfield with basically three wingers against Celtic was foolish. Not quite at Snodgrass v Rangers levels, but still poor decision-making from "the management team".

My issue is with how they covered it, rather than the fact they did.

It's great we've qualified, but I found the national broadcaster dedicating a live text feed to celebrating a Spain win a bit unedifying. Especially as it effectively denied us the opportunity to top the group and I believe we would have qualified easily anyway.

The new all-day fare is based on an off-peak fare, which wasn't the cheapest on the route. That was the super off-peak fare. As someone who doesn't really travel at "peak" times, I'm very much missing the super off-peak options, which have all been scrapped it seems.

I get you're happy/relieved with the draw but Hibs aren't much better than Hearts in any position right now. Not particularly surprised that Hearts chucked a two-goal lead, although the manner of it was ridiculous. Sibbick is never a centre half, but the spine of the team isn't strong enough at the moment anyway. Fit and firing, Gordon, Halkett, Baningame and Shankland would make such a difference. But not sure if/when it'll happen long-term for the first three, let alone all four at the same time.
