  1. Only one team going to win this today. Three points v Thistle are too easy to come by. Getting right pissed off hearing from pundits that McCall is an excellent coach and manager. He's making a complete arse of it so far.
  2. McCall just sounds deluded but I guess he needs to remain positive for the players and himself. It's his team choice that baffles, some players just are not performing yet seem first picks.
  3. Fair point well made but is evidence of how far we have fallen in such a short period. Seems no one involved in the running of my club have learned anything from the obvious mistakes made over the past 2 years.
  4. Yes, very embarrassing. But many of us slowly fans have been telling McCall and low this and they seem deaf to it. Utterly useless. Lachlan must be pissing his pants
  5. Charlatan of a chairman, board and seems closer to including our management team in that list. Weather was the same for both teams so no excuse there. Only 3 games in but v Falkirk next weekend is looking like a must win for McCall. Improvement from Caldwell is minimal, I'm fast losing interest in my club. Poor loser? Fuckung bet I am. We were shat on last season and close season (such as it was) I thought at the very least we would come out fighting like f**k if for no other reason, the perceived injustice of it all but seems not. Shitebags it would appear. Ho hum on to next weeks drubbing. Can't even throw my season ticket on to the pitch
  6. Never heard if self autonomy? Silly post, Trott back to your own thread
  7. I get this, I really do skyline, for a chairperson who's skill set is a communications expert, it has been woeful, but what do you/we expect? What would your statement have said? Mine would have been short and simple, we felt we had to try, we still feel hard done by but having exhausted all legal and now football routes we have failed. Now we wait to see what the further punishment is and we move on. We took the risky route, hope everyone understands why we did it, we look forward to the new season and to welcoming our opposition players, management and fans to firhill from October. Let's get back to football. This communications is a piece of cake
  8. Aye, so you would. Not a true fan with a statement like that or are you more motivated towards a wind up? You are right, re the statement. Utter embarrassment and as many have said on here the management and leadership has been poor at both the top of the spfl and Thistle, no arguement there.
  9. Agree, I was referencing the shambles that was the lost vote, found vote, nothing to see here statements. The leadership has been shocking, in fact it has been nonexistent. We are not excluded from shockingly bad management either.
  10. You're entitled to your opinion as am I. Your still posting sh1te I see
  11. Can't wait, seriously looking forward to it. Decision made, hope we are allowed to move on by other clubs and fans, time for a fresh slate? Change is coming for management of the spfl I hope but turning a tanker takes time.
  12. I must be as thick as f**k, I've no idea what your point is. Way too highbrow for me
  13. I never posted any of that. You too are making shut up.......are you Neil Doncaster?
  14. I never diad they wouldn't. Don't chuckle to a point a wee drop of pee comes out
  15. They've been robbed of the opportunity surely? The difference between being in the 1st division for one season or two seasons for a club the size of Falkirk could be catastrophic. Can you not at least see that Random? Perhaps there are Falkirk fans on here posting like they would have won the league but neither you nor I can say they wouldn't with 100% positivity. I think being robbed of the opportunity by self serving strangers might be the point. I've not hidden from the fact that I have thought since Christmas thistle would be relegated, but it's one thing to go down under your own steam playing football and another to be kicked in the bollocks on the way down by brother/ sister clubs voting you down. I also know honour and brotherly love amongst clubs is alien but f**k me, during these horrendous times, surely we should all be acting together to protect each other, not a look after number 1 attitude that is apparent in these "negotiations"
  16. That's you being presumptive and making it up as you go along. See last post which I agree with you about clubs and fans motivations. Don't think it's that confusing
  17. Agree with this. Personally I feel Falkirk and airdrie have been dealt a worst deal than Thistle. Falkirk especially would be many fans favourites to get to the top of the 1st by the end of the season and are now, as it stands punished with another season in the 1st division. That is financially a worst outcome. As for reconstruction I think it's a false dawn. Mostly likely they will simply increase the premier to save hearts, possibly increase the championship for a single season which won't include keeping Thistle in the championship, with three relegated from the premier and championship at the end of next season. If we ever get next season started. I'll miss the play offs, very exciting end to a season.
  18. If course it is all about our present predicament, way to go sherlock. Your last para I agree with. Why you would think otherwise from my post is baffling. The unavoidable truth here is that on current positions in the league, f**k all the nonsense of averages and games in hand etc, we are bottom for a reason. We have been pish for 3 years now, we are at the bottom cos we deserve to be. No arguement from most Thistle fans I know.
  19. I don't disagree. Just making the point that it's a hypothetical point you are making. We will never know for sure.
  20. You think Thistle would have voted "No" if they were sitting 7th? As I've said elsewhere, clubs have voted in their own best interest. Get this "moral" pish to f**k. No. Was just making the point you were wrong to dismiss the original post, and it turns out I was right to be so cynical. Never made any mention of being "moral" or that Thistle would have voted no. That's a hypothetical question to which we'll never know the answer. I'd hope that like ICT we would have done the right thing but who knows. Apology accepted
  21. You smell of "I'm alright jack"? Enjoy the sweet smell of success why don't you
  22. Hate to say it, so I won't. And for clarity, I take no pleasure from it at all. Utter disgrace this spfl board.
