Shall and shan't. Thankfully not popular up here. However, used by many in Englandshire. Will and won't are far less offensive IMO.

Aye enjoy it. I've only had the pleasure of attending one Scottish Cup Final. From nine in the morning to four the following morning it was amazing. Apart from the football which was woeful. -

Not a bad deal £95 on the Nike website for those. Count yourself lucky, my boy wanted Nike Air Max at £105. For gutties! FFS. I must be getting old. Luckily for him it was his birthday. Enough to give a Paisley man a heart attack I tell you.

The allegedly offensive term aimed at Rangers supporters has nothing to do with being derogatory about protestants in my opinion. I was brought up as a protestant and if anyone directed this term at me I would not assume it was referring to my religion but mistakenly assuming that I was a Rangers fan. For me the term related to the Rangers solidarity with the Queen and her ancestors who were German (House of Hanover). Some of us that have watched the odd WW2 movie may remember that this is in fact how a huge percentage of the population of the UK referred to Germans. So for me offensive to Germans not protestants. As for the F word. I was taught that this was a legitimate and non derogatory way of describing Roman Catholics. However, both terms as a consequence of the context that they are used in modern Scotland seem to have now taken on new connotations.

On any Sunday: 1970 motorbike documentary that includes Steve McQueen on a motorbike without a German or prison camp in sight. You would have to be into bikes to appreciate it 7.5/10 Maze Runner: Not a bad effort 6.5/10 Searching for Sugarman; Oscar winning documentary on the search for the singer Rodriguez. Second time around watching this. Didn't disappoint on second viewing. 9/10

I still reckon Bomber misheard "are they deid yet" for "are there deeds yet". -
Checked further, one of the guys involved in the early days of Benz named the cars after his daughter.

If you are going to Melbourne do the Great Ocean Road. Seeing koalas in the wild is something I'll never forget. You see them on the road to Cape Otway lighthouse. St. Kilda is good it's like Byres Road on the beach. IIRC they have a rooftop cinema there too.

Coming back from Glasgow tonight at 7.30p.m. to find Lochwinnoch is more suited to watercraft than cars. -
Recently gone to the cinema with my 14 year old son to see: Transformers 4 6/10 Way too long. Wahlberg was good. Pretty meh overall though Earth to Echo 3/10 bad remake of ET with older kids. Really dire IMO. My son liked it though. Guardians of the Galaxy. 8/10 went to this with low expectations. However I loved it. Gobsmacking CGI, witty script, good characters with decent acting. Really good piece of light entertainment. Recommended

Ach it's all a matter of taste. I think Belhaven's Twisted Thistle is ok whereas I'd rather drink a basin of soap suds than let Punk IPA near ma mooth again. -

Tesco's in England stock Belhaven 80 shilling according to what I have read online. Edited to add I would think McEwans might be available widely. -
Can't believe he has the audacity to ask a grand for that.
