I'll not lie, it's a gamble but that's what trials and scouting players is all about The Kidderminster fans have been raving about Elton tbf and saying he deserves the step up - not going to say he's a great signing til I've seen him coz we had the same about Deacon and he's been ok if a bit lacking in a finish but like I said I'd still rather have him than Aird or the 20 Yr old defender that's played one whole season with Dumbarton

Lol, I'm not saying they'll be amazing but McCann has scouted them/had them in on trial so he sees something in them & he's done OK so far with Hendry, Caulker and Kamara so I'm looking at them as being potentially decent but more likely lower Premiership standard players You've got Csaba signing whatever championship players he can get to top up the likes of Toshney and King... We've been there - we signed Toshney ffs!

Yup still a case of who? - but I'd rather be going for guys like them than fighting Dunfermline and St Mirren for Aird and O'Ware

Me too, fortunately most of our new 'who the f**k' players come with some pedigree as opposed to the days of the no mark names we had to sign in the old first div... Thank f**k those days are hopefully behind us - couldn't be doing with binning whole teams each season in the hope we'd pull a team together out of the bargain bin of football dross again

Getting quite excited already to see who else McCann has up his sleeve - obviously the two new guys are a bit of an unknown but so was Kamara (& Moussa) so I'm hoping for more of the same (& less of the 2nd)

Haha yeah they're definitely the images that popped into my head when you mentioned we might be in for him Hope it's just paper talk or he's got more about him than he's shown this season but if we were looking at players from the two bottom teams I'd have been more tempted with County's left back myself (Melbourne I think?) . He was only up on loan from West Brom/West Ham but he always stood out to me anytime I saw them

I can't see it myself, Murray’s not got the composure of Stewart or the finishing. I'd be happy to be proved wrong but everything I've seen of him reminds me of the kid in the school football team that scored plenty by running about like a daftie but got found out as soon as they needed to start using their head...

I'd love to think there was a possibility of Hemmings coming back north but have to think he'd still have plenty better offers down south... If he could be persuaded he would make a huge difference to us tho, we finished top six thanks to him and Stewart with a pretty ropey team so I think with an improved version of the team we had last year we'd be seriously well placed for next season. (Cue him signing for a rival and us paying money for Beaker now)

I admit if he's guilty of actual assault I'd want him suitably punished but didn't think we were wanting him hung or shot... Gio's not had the best track record remember
