  1. 39 in December, when his contract expires in 2020, he'll be six months off his 41st birthday
  2. Kenny Miller scored 3 goals in 1193 minutes in the league last season, a goal every 400 minutes. Moussa scored 5 goals in 1693 minutes, a goal every 330 minutes. Leith-Smith got 6 goals in 1430 minutes, a goal every 240 minutes. He's following the exact lines strikers do as they get older. His output is regressing and he's playing further off the front. He contributed no assists last season, while having a worse goal record than two strikers most of your fans despise, despite him playing in a far more dominant side.
  3. Prepare for everything that happens behind the scenes at Dens to be in The Sun and splashed all over Twitter then. He comes with absolutely massive baggage, has four league goals since the end of April 2017, and Livingston fans were complaining about him dropping deep/being nowhere near fit enough within the first game or two he played for them. A two year deal suggests your boards learned nothing.
  4. Fwiw I think McCann and Hendry were brought on with half an eye on the thought it would help them get loan moves. It's more likely a League One club will make a move for a young player getting top flight minutes than one who isn't. I'm fairly convinced neither are ahead of Wotherspoon/Scougall at this stage. I also think Watt will bring out the best in Kane if they partner each other.
  5. I'd rather play Scobbie in CM than Paton. Sounds like an outstanding signing, and it's exciting to see how he does. Not bothered about the length of deal, as it might allow us to have something interesting to watch on #WinterDeadlineDay
  6. He's on loan so he'll be getting the same wages regardless... Clarke or McCann, its a no brainer.
  7. Sounds like we might have something to watch on deadline day too. Tansey on loan seems like a possibility again, a week left and we've to sign a CM with stature at short notice, and he seems the least risky. His injury problems the major downside.
  8. Gordon didn't do well on loan as far as I can remember, at best he got mixed reviews from their fans.
  9. PES6 was the Adriano one wasn't it? 99 shot power. Spending whole days as Inter giving him the ball then just shooting from anywhere
  10. Interesting how you can clearly distinguish our 4-4-1-1 formation in that still. Dundees set up on the other hand...
  11. Scougall hasn't had a run of games in his preferred position, bit bizarre to be writing him off considering that. Even more bizarre to suggest we played a formation solely for his benefit, when that formation had him out of position. If he's not going to play regularly as a ten there's no point in him being here, so he's probably aswell leaving seeing as TW has plumped for McMillan, Alston and fucking Liam Craig in that position ahead of him since he joined. He won't contribute enough from wide positions.
  12. I don't mind loans if they're better players than you can afford normally, the likes of Abeid and O'Halloran obvious examples of it done right.
  13. Swanson would be used better than Scougall, that's the difference. I loved Swanson but his time at Saints has passed, we've twice rescued his career and its gone to waste, understandable or not it can't happen again. He's coming up for 32, barely played any football in the past year, and has had a succession of niggly injuries over that period. Let's just have the memories of those glorious chubby baller years and move on.
  14. You lot apparently close to signing Danny Swanson. I genuinely think your wage bill will be higher than a couple of Premiership sides, your midfield is fucking stacked.
  15. Their squad is mental, their fans still believe it's sustainable though, somehow.
  16. You lot are being linked with Danny Swanson, but apparently Ross County "lead the chase"
  17. A waste of talent really, he'll likely be a 32yo playing in the Championship soon. Hard to blame him for joining his boyhood club, but he must regret it.
  18. Dundee also being linked to Swanson. Either way he had the chance of being a regular, and a key player, for us over a period of three/four years. Instead he's spent it wasting away on a bench. He turns 32 in December, and has wasted his peak.
  19. Usually with this type of signing you go on their clubs forum and find the hype isn't real, and they have a major flaw. Not so with this boy. There's a couple of their fans who mention he's like a young Kieron Dyer, but better at the age he is.
