  1. Any other club, or player, and you'd call them mad for spending that amount on someone whos 33. Juventus seem to have a knack of making good transfer decisions though (who oversees these by the way? As someone who's not hugely observant, they do honestly seem to be almost flawless in the transfer market), and Ronaldos Ronaldo.
  2. Believe they are not allowed to promote it and it has to be the testimonial committee who is responsible Now you've said that I remember someone saying similar about Mackays. Surely they could retweet stuff though? Nine hours ago it was announced the half time entertainment would be the 98 Cup final squad v the 14 Cup final squad in a penalty shoot out, thats the type of thing that'll maybe swing people along, and it seems a shame a chunk of our fanbase might not be aware purely because they'll be looking at the official club stuff for details.
  3. It's a bit hit and miss. BLK tweeted its the clubs responsiblity to announce the strips, the club announced the home strip will be revealed and released next week, and the date would be announced "very soon", and then there's been no mention of it for days. Same with how we got a couple of days of photos/updates/replies, and then a few days of complete silence. They've not even promoted the testimonial at all as far as I can see
  4. Just me who doesn't understand the huge deal about five pounds?
  5. I doubt you'd see a huge increase in crowds if it was a fiver.
  6. Sounds promising. I expect that signing would be greeted with "Templetons better, cheap option yet again" type shite.
  7. BLK twitter saying the home kit to be on sale next week, sounds like we'll be told when we'll first see it at some point today.
  8. I've no idea. Just been suggestions by those who do have sources at the club that he's been watched by clubs down there since he was on loan with you lot. Tommy Wright referenced the scouts in an interview a few months back aswell.
  9. It's far more likely but I wouldn't get your hopes up. We've started switching between a back four and back three, and we've only got four senior centre halves if you include Gordon. Manager has publicly said what he wants and a centre back wasn't on the list. Which suggests he's happy with the defensive options.
  10. Your friend is either winding you up, or you're winding QOS fans up. Theres absolutely zero chance Jason Kerr will be at QOS next season. There's zero chance we'll loan him out to any team below us in the league structure. He was our best CH last season and has been watched by numerous English Championship clubs for the past year.
  11. They also PMd me in between the two posts, for some reason.
  12. Sure I read Saints return from Austria tomorrow, so it's not totally impossible I suppose.
  13. Three of our youth products will be first team starters next season, and we blooded two u17s in the first team last season. Totally irrelevant though, as I'm not here claiming theyd "walk" into Celtic's starting line up.
  14. When McLean was being linked away St Mirren fans were claiming he was a superstar and future Scotland regular.
  15. Tbf Celtic play with one more defensive minded midfielder, a more attack minded one, then a number ten. He's worse defensively than Scott Brown, scores less than Calum McGregor, and Rogic is the best number ten in the country. That's ignoring Ntcham, who regularly strolls matches at this level and has a physicality and technical ability beyond McGinn. Nice to see St Mirren fans still absolutely deluded about how good their young players are, though. Kenny McLean was apparently a superstar, before spending years looking like a bang average midfielder for Aberdeen. Assume Morgan will turn out the same.
  16. Indeed, a 27yo with injury problems who's spent his whole career at a smaller club. Strange how people think that would be a no brainer signing for Hearts.
  17. Bogdan seems an odd signing. He won't be an upgrade on Marciano, but you'd assume he'd be on a mammoth wage at Liverpool, which surely means Hibs will be paying a decent chunk of it on loan. I'm going to have change this prediction about Hibs finishing well.
  18. He seemed to spend the majority of last season injured, and apparently spent the last six months telling any Scottish club who approached him that he'd be moving down South.
  19. Wait until we meet at McDiarmid and a ref decides we both have to play in away kits...
  20. Aye, but I dont think top flight clubs could have development loans, same as how they couldn't get emergency loans when they were in effect.
  21. Even if it was still those rules, it's not applicable, because you share a league with Rangers.
  22. Livingstons fans are wondering if they can get more loan players from Rangers this season. Already have Ryan Hardie.
  23. Are you not only allowed one loanee per club in the same division? If you've already got Hardie you won't get anyone else.
