We needed someone off the books to sign Matthew Willock, and Paton was the weakest CM. He's a really poor footballer, can't pick a pass at all, yet constantly tries to dictate your tempo. Expect plenty of counter attacks to end because he spends three hours twisting his body to try and kick with his right foot. He regularly shits out 50/50s aswell, preferring to go in high against players when it's in his favour and then roaring towards the fans as if he's full of passion. Might be alright if the Championship is worse than I remember, Chris Millar was a better player even when he was hobbling about.

Watson played RB on the rare occasions he was fit. Predominantly played CB for Hartlepool on loan though, and seemingly done well. Dont think his quality is in doubt, its entirely injuries that he's at this level. Games I remember him were against Celtic, where he played RB behind Foster to double up on Tierney and Sinclair, and he looked quality. Last game he played was at home to Partick, and Miles Storey destroyed him. Maybe just unfit but he was so slow it was unreal.
