Yeah, Everton wouldn't be a good move, they're little more than a top half team and are unlikely to ever better that. Tottenham/Man U should be no brainers though.
Your suggestion about him progressing by changing his position is a bit bizarre.
Seems to be widely reported down South that Everton have offered £25m and Tottenham are seeing how Celtic react to that before bidding.
He needs out of Celtic to continue progressing, and Tottenham seems a really good, obvious, next step for his career.
I'd hope he's got the guts to try it.
When he left us there was article somewhere that he'd "fallen out of love with the game" and only dropping well down the levels to play in a team with a family member helped him enjoy it again.
Possible he's just not enjoying being a footballer, sadly happens to people.
Tbf every home support drops against the old firm. Our club reckons 40% of season ticket holders don't turn up for games against them, the reasons are fairly obvious.
I only use the mobile so can't see the "My Team" bit, absolutely disgusted it's taken me this long to realise Pep is a United fan, all the signs are there.
Sporting forum seems split on Gauld, btw. Some reckon he'll be a star in their first team this season, some suggests he miles off it.
Looks like he'll be a regular in squads regardless
Tbf, I'm sure Hopkin, who'd been at the club numerous years, only found out about "dodgy dealings behind the scenes" the exact same month his stock was at his highest and clubs were begging him for interviews. It's just a coincidence, ya see.
