  1. I wondered if Drey Wright was a "Head of Recruitment" signing, as that's the type of player we'll be hoping they find. Timelines don't really add up to that though. Can't see Swanson being remotely interested in moving until Hibs sort of what's happening with their midfield. O'Halloran will require a fee. If it's between us and Motherwell, realistically only one club is getting him, as much as we all see sense in spending money on him, the club more than likely won't.
  2. #NaturalOrder After years of Falkirk fans proclaiming Sibbald a huge prospect, who'd be moving to one of the Old Firm or Aberdeen, they finally get to see a version of their squad everyone else sees. Hes a 24 year old midfielder whos never played in the top flight and barely scores five goals a season. Livingston is the best move he could've gotten, and choosing between them and Falkirk is an absolute no brainer if he ever wants to progress, as he needs top flight football, and its highly unlikely if he were to stay for another few years.
  3. Went hunting for proof of the fee, found this instead. Distinctly lacking in pitch invasion chat.. http://news.ladbrokes.com/spfl/scottish-premiership/fitba-crazy-week-eight-st-johnstone.html
  4. He should follow the Andy Robertson route of going to a lower EPL side, and playing regularly at that level instead of dotting in and out Celtic's squad, and then try and win a move to one of the big six in that league. Takes longer to get to the money, but he'll be better off for it. Joining Celtic and have six top level games every season isnt going to bring him on any huge amount.
  5. I don't abuse him. Ando gives him enough of a cunting that I'd feel adding to it would be unnecessary.
  6. He'll gain about five stone and still be a scrawny wee c**t. Absolute scenes if he comes back built like a tank and willing to nail c***s.
  7. We coped with Falkirk in the League Cup a few seasons ago so big crowds aren't an issue. Think they got pissed off with the shite weather so moved indoors somewhere.
  8. We've had a similar issue with testimonials lately. Steven Anderson got Hearts and Chris Millar is getting Aberdeen. Most teams charge to appear so you're likely to make a loss. Celtic apparently charge a seven figure fee.
  9. Tbf we've not had them at McDiarmid since 2013.
  10. I only post shite when I'm bored, a fair few Dundee fans claim to despise my posts, before spending the next half hour replying to me and mentioning me in other topics ( @Yenitit)
  11. Did Steve Clarke not take West Brom to their highest ever finish in the "Sky era"? Lambert hasn't even come close to that. Something about him reeks of failure, same as Coyle. That's based on nothing else but a gut feeling, though.
  12. Can someone tell @SweeperDee he's on ignore. I keep getting notifications about him quoting me.
  13. Can someone tell @Yenitit he's on ignore, I keep getting notifications about him quoting me, assume it's the usual overly aggressive insults being thrown about.
  14. He was released from his contract a few weeks early. As I say, it's barely noticeable, but im certain it was reported we gave Motherwell "compensation" to end his contract.
  15. Well it's technically the correct answer. We paid Motherwell a fee to get Sutton in before the European ties.
  16. John Sutton was a fee? Paid Motherwell to get him early, although you'd doubt it was anything notable.
  17. How very bennett-y a reply that is. Add a random "sevco" in and you've nailed it.
  18. Way Hearts business has gone this Summer it's probably a straight swap for Bobby Geddes
  19. Always worth taking it with a pinch of salt, but he's a player who'd been called up for Scotland, had two years contract left, and was Hearts' only contracted senior keeper. I doubt he's just been handed over. We were linked a few weeks back, fwiw, and suggestion from a journalist on twitter was he'd cost six figures.
  20. Be the first time anyone wouldve seen me and Levein in the same room.. Hearts fans on Twitter saying Dundee have paid a "six figure fee" for Hamilton. Plenty faith been shown in him from McCann if that's right.
  21. He almost scored at the end of the first half. His ability in the final third is mental. He got us a couple of goals this season by beating defenders on the edge of their own box
