  1. Seems odd to an outsider, as Barton looked absolutely class every time I saw him last season.
  2. Granny Danger being a Barcelona fan is the biggest minter I've seen. An actual OAP who fanboys a team from a completely different country because they're successful.
  3. Could be worse, they had John Hughes on the result show yesterday. His opinions were somewhat bizarre and done nothing to get rid of the impression he's thick as f**k. May is God.
  4. Stevie May will score, Steven Maclean likely will too. Aberdeen will win
  5. Genuinely staggered St Mirren fans genuinely believe there's any chance of signing Steven Mallan
  6. We had similar with Marcus Maddison, spent U20 games refusing to do what he was asked and moaned constantly about not getting a chance. Left us due to "homesickness". Been linked with £1m+ transfers for the past year or two. Strange how some players can suddenly just click in their own mind. If Roberts follows Maddisons example he could maybe end up similar.
  7. Worth noting Hartley had a team with Bain, Stewart, and a 20+ goalscorer in Hemmings, and ended up 8th. Harsh perhaps, but I'd suggest that's a poor season for a manager.
  8. Take it you're seeing the irony in talking about how quickly the fans opinion of a manager can change?
  9. McCoist took money out of Rangers when they desperately needed a pay cut, tried his hardest to prevent them getting promoted to the top flight and then continued to take a wage years after he was sacked. #AgentMcCoist
  10. Worth noting you're generally on course to fail FFP until the final month or so before that particular period ends.
  11. You're maybe right. It was around the time McInnes was being linked with Sunderland so managers were being linked with Aberdeen. Neil seems the most likely based on that.
  12. I had had no idea they were that early. Got home at sixish and settled down to watch a game and see my cash out options. Two bets fucked by a draw in the first game. Staggering stuff. Went for a Everton, Milan, Lyon treble aswell, Lyon well on course to f**k me there too.
  13. Yup. It was definitely Lambert, no idea why I thought Coyle had said the same. I'm not as sure this'll be a good move for County as other Saints fans, I feel shite saying it as he completely turned the club around, but he wasn't close to McInnes' level. McInnes took us up, and then managed to get us through a tough second season by transforming the same squad of players into a strong defensive team, if Coyle had been in that situation I doubt we'd have survived the second season and grown from it. A lot of Saints fans have a romanticised view of him due to what came before. As I say though, I hope he does well, he was always likeable. I got to spend a few days working at McDiarmid when he was there, and it seemed like a good atmosphere (although trying to clear the astro of snow, being pelted by snowballs by the players then getting a telling off from Coyle for distracting players and not clearing the pitch quick enough definitely dont still hurt, he did later give me a signed photo of the squad with the entire teams signature though)
  14. I thought I'd heard him on the radio a few months back saying he didn't want to return to Scotland as the facilities up here weren't good enough. Sure him and another manager, possibly Lambert, had said stuff like that. More than likely I'm wrong.
  15. Worth noting ICT had a "pay what you want" deal with us one week, and the crowd barely rose and it was reported they made a fairly decent loss. Our "adult plus U12s for £16" deal is attracting more fans, but it's been ongoing for four odd years now and the amount of extra fans is pretty minimal so far, we're also seemingly bringing less on due to it aswell, while there's still people who don't attend because that's "too expensive".
  16. It's a staggering set of affairs. Majority of clubs protested agaisnt the most recent talks on the "Project", and were told to simply accept it or the authorities would just set up an elite league with four clubs anyway.
  17. Interesting to see how this ends of up. Hope he does well, to a point.
  18. Please don't stop them, the utter delusions they harbour about their club are tremendous. Arsenal are clearly just stringing Wenger along until they can appoint whoever gets Falkirk promoted.
  19. f**k Bayern. Them getting absolutely pumped didn't even give me a chance of a decent cash out.
  20. Fair enough. Worth noting he's a high profile out of work manager who's been the favourite for three jobs in this country in the past eight months and who was on the radio last week. He's an obvious bet.
  21. Scottish Manager odds are notoriously reliant in bets placed more than the bookies having any idea. Tommy Wright was an absolutely massive odds on figure to be Uniteds manager days after it was confirmed he wasn't going.
