  1. Been a long time since we signed a player fitting that criteria... Hes also never played a single senior game in his career and seems to exclusively be a right back.
  2. Can't wait to see what spin gets put on this tbh, a player who'll likely never play for us.
  3. Clive Smith is a right back. We have two senior right backs. Seemingly its to provide cover because of Gilchrists injury. Gilchrist is the fourth choice centre half. *sigh*
  4. Reporters at Preston saying there's a late shout of an outgoing from them, but it's a "complicated" deal. I don't care of there's zero chance of it, dreaming in pure delusion is better than the agonising emptiness thats the alternative
  5. I was too, it comes across a bit amateurish tbh. Maybe it's more a case of them having a certain group of players they want to agree terms with before they move onto the others, and it's just been poorly worded.
  6. I imagine you'll be breaking some "combined lineup numbers"
  7. Bit bizarre he talks about how players of Swansons quality can suddenly become available late in the window, before saying he'll be turning his phone on silent regardless. A good January signing can transform a season.
  8. Genuinely just expected it to be about Scobbie signing a new contract, tbh.
  9. Ojamma is a very good signing. Did Klok not struggle with County?
  10. Bigger news is that Steven Moffat is also leaving at the end of the year.
  11. Hes been awful out on loan, is what's happened. He's 21 next season, and will be fifth choice striker assuming MacLean, Cummins, Kane and Hurst all stay. That's ifwe don't sign anyone, and the likes of Johnson don't continue scoring. I can see him leaving this Summer tbh.
  12. No. TV companies don't give a shit about Edinburgh/Dundee derbies, they only care about the Old Firm games, as proven by a lower deal when those two derbies were in the top flight compared to now when the Old Firm game is in it. Hibs and Uniteds travelling support has been pretty average aswell, and regardless, we just had our highest attendance against Accies in 25 years at the weekend, which maybe suggests our success is starting to grow our crowds, which, financially, is better for us than a home game against Hibs once a season. Please though, continue bleating about how we'll all be worse off without them, and how only teams pumped by MyPa47 and Malmo can stand a chance of winning games in Europe.
  13. Yeah, who needs new rivalries created, or smaller clubs given the chance to grow as clubs, when we all can hark back to the past as it's some form of testament to how the shape of things should look up here.
  14. You likely care very little about my opinion, but Pawlett is nowhere near the player of a few years ago, and an inconsistent, lightweight, shitebag who can only play in the middle isn't what I'd expect to solve your problems.
  15. How many ~30 year olds would turn down a higher wage, and a chance to play for their boyhood team, to stay at a club in the same division?
  16. Do you think he'll wait to see of Hibs gets promoted? I love Swanson, but much like O'Halloran I dont think he's irreplaceable, not to the extent May was. If Alston/Wotherspoon/New winger could all chin with 5+ goals each we'd be fine.
  17. Nice to see Cathros introduction into the league is helping young Scottish players like everyone claimed it would. Signing nine foreigners is a great start...
  18. Being reported in Preston that May will be staying with the club now.
  19. Happy with that, Fosters a solid player at this level and Spoony is a "moneyball" superstar. MacLean and Craig both have options, so you can pretty much ignore them. Easton and Shaughnessy hopefully next and that'll be the defence sorted.
  20. It's tragic as f**k that you take photos of your cat, then post them on here, m8.
  21. Can I just say the thread about us on your forum is hilariously innacurate. The point about our success being down to us "not taking chances with injury prone players but going for ones with pace" was a highlight.
  22. Any proof of this "progressive scouting/signings"? Or is it yet more pish that gets attributed to Cathro for absolutely no reason?
  23. Can't find the Christmas lights switch on thread, but it's come out today that Perth spent ~£230k on them...
