  1. On our budget we couldn't compete with Hibs. He has a young family he needs to support and we couldn't match Hibs offer without risking losing out on other players. We're quite well stocked in central midfielder so couldn't afford the spend so much of our budget on him Actually thinking about it, it's possible we sacrificed Craig for Brittain
  2. He's played over 200 games. He joined us halfway through the Gretna season and played a pivotal part in our resurgence that almost them clawed back against all odds. Since then he's suffered all the highs and lows with us, and given his all in every single minute of every match. Every goal is celebrated like a fan, despite who scored it, and some goals he's scored have been the most important of the season. In his last ever game for us, in a match he didn't even need to try in seeing as his futures secured, he played out of skin, chasing everything and risking injury winning balls, scored a belter and gave it big licks after scoring. The fact he's done so much for the club, in such an important time, makes him a legend
  3. It's incredibly likely he'll get boo'd by some of the old moaning c***s though
  4. Absolute legend indeed. It might get mocked but I felt sadder yesterday watching him wave goodbye than I did about Murray. He's not the best, but he gave so much for us over the past few years. Yesterday summed him up, gave every single ounce he had to try and get us into Europe. And he always scores when it's really needed. His goal at Dunfermline remains one of the best (if not the best) I've ever seen a Saints player score, ridiculously good goal that was destined to go in as soon as he hit it. I wish him all the best, no matter where he ends up. You could easily say this has been some of the greatest season we've ever had. And that the last 6 odd years have been a never ending dream of gloriousness. He's been a huge part of this, and has grown with the club. One day he'll come back, I'm certain of that
  5. I got a message at half time of an Ultimate Team game. Boy sent about 4 lines of "haha" before telling me I was shit. Not sure he realised it was half time and he was only 1-0 up though. As the second half started and he had obviously left his controller and wandered off somewhere....
  6. At least you managed to quote properly this time
  7. Not A Problem http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1207101/The-goals-Sportsmails-time-favourite-Phantom-goals.html It's the 4th one down. A Mark Hughes "goal"
  8. Georgie's a more obvious alias than me. And I just added a full stop to my name
  9. About 4 months ago I literally just sent a group text to friends asking if anyone had any weed. Within 15 minutes I was chapping at my mates door with £70. It really is that easy
  10. There's been rumours for a while that Jamie Langfield will sign for St Mirren, not sure how true they are though If we keep Mannus then we'll possibly not bother bringing another senior keeper in, Tuffey's only played about 1 game and our budgets getting slashed again
  11. You've probably already seen this. But Samson's signing for Kilmarnock, not Motherwell
  12. Kilmarnock are signing Reguero from Inverness to replace Bell, so he wouldn't be first choice there either. Only St Mirren need a keeper from the SPL unless we lose Mannus, or Aberdeen finally ditch Langfield
  13. Don't get me starting with The Broons. One Dundee night out ended with me losing all my friends and spending half an hour talking to the Desperate Dan statue, still no idea how I got back to the flat, I think he showed me the way
  14. I'm in Dundee (I think) on Saturday for my mates girlfriends 22nd birthday. No idea where we're going yet, but possible beach sesh during the day before a nandos and night out means I'll probably end up on this
  15. I agreeI thought I was very poor tonight. Didn't think the sontarans were in that episode.....
  16. Izard bores me massively, just a fat Julian Clary
  17. If you look quickly she is. Sadly her face has too much smugness in it to be good looking
  18. I hope they set a pig on fire next. I'm sure there's some film where the main characters set pigs on fire to scare away their enemies and I want to know what actually happens
  19. Was this up beside the cloakroom by any chance. After you'd gone away i told my girlfriend i thought you were a bit weird so that would explain why It might have been! I thought it was near the entrance but upstairs. Was talking to my sister and the gay guy ( I'm sure he's gay anyway) when your girlfriend came over and you got introduced. All I remember saying is "I recognise you" then my mind goes blank and next thing I remember is walking home. Although I can't deny the fact I am a bit strange
  20. I've been to GHQ myself, someone's birthday night out of course. I love how tense some straight people get in gay clubs, they must think if their arse isn't facing a wall they'll get bumraped. I mind one time when I was in Polo for another birthday (genuinely, honest ) a guy tried to talk to my mate and he properly freaked the f**k out. Bizarre. Mind you, of the three times I've been to gay club's the bouncer has asked me every time if I know it's a gay place. I don't know whether to be complimented or offended, probably offended. I got hit on in a gay bar. While at the bar, by the barman himself and then at the toilet. The fact the DJ announced I was "coming out" probably didn't help
