  1. We utilised it multiple times yesterday at 0-0 but the problem was we rarely won the 1st header/flick on. Good tool to have though as both Muirhead & Hippolyte can give it a good launch.
  2. Unless the money men part funding it can add on the various facilities they want to have onto a modern terrace I very much doubt it'll be anything other than seating.
  3. I asked about the South stand and was told it will be the main stand only. As Bainsford Bairn mentioned, the South stand is sponsored & will continue to be I think so the West stand is the only option. Until an East stand happens obviously.
  4. Totally agree. Also, even if he plays 90mins tonight there's 5 days rest between games. Although I notice Gallagher isn't in tonight's squad. Could he be getting a start on Sat in one of the full back slots?
  5. Nope, sold out so they must have bought it a while ago or spoken nicely to the club/kit man.
  6. Or we could just win the league and not have to deal with the play offs....
  7. Lot of time for Ronnie & as others have said, the club will miss the work he has put in (for no wage) over the last 4/5 years. It does seem that there is more to these board departures than is being said and for me the real worry is those that are left.
  8. Deserved win today. Hopefully we are one of the teams to avoid Celtic U20s (if they progress) or any of the Welsh/Irish sides. It's a Scottish senior tournament and hopefully returns to just that next season.
  9. It came on eventually. Decent 1st half from us & comfortably in front. Good goal from Elgin although it caught the cameraman out. 2nd half in silent though as Jamie McGowan is one moaning sod. Thomson isn't much better.
  10. Is today's game not on FTV? Down with man flu.
  11. If a player is being whored around prospective clubs then managers will know what players are after/on. Houstie is no different. Not sure wages are broadcast normally mind you.
  12. Are we still talking about Rankin being a direct replacement for Vaulks? He was never a direct replacement as they are 2 very different players. You could argue that if we only had Vaulks wages to use then the sensible option would have been to buy a similar player. Houstie obviously realised that would be impossible for £500 a week and signed Rankin believing he would add something to the squad. We have a big squad this season, you only need to look at the bench and also those left out the squad of 18.
  13. Leahy's attacking attributes have never been questioned unless I'm mistaken?
  14. Agree with the full post bar the last line. Teams see he's our weakest defensive link and exploit it sadly. Watch how many teams focus on going down the right channel against us.
  15. Without sounding like a knicker wetter, 4pts minimum is needed in the next 2 away games. For both morale & points reasons.
  16. Kevin McAllister testimonial was at Brockville in 2002.
  17. I'm sure I saw online yesterday that over 4000 had been shifted so far. Only a couple of games had more home fans than that last season so it's heading in the right direction. I'm not sure why people thought we would sell out when it's happened on so few occasions.
  18. Muirhead will come back into defence next Sat I think and Kidd hitting the bench.
  19. Holt will give most centre halves a run for their money. Sutton? No chance. Gasparotto had big Lee Miller in his back pocket a couple of last years games, he'll do so with most CHs this season I reckon.
  20. Shepherd needs to man up. Both on the park & off it. Far worse has/was shouted in years gone by. He needs to do his talking on the park and put the god damn ball in the net. Did Sammy or Ricey give up or strop as some Airdrie boys shouted "Ginger scum off our streets!" I don't think so. Man up Shepps!
  21. Botti Biabi & Ryan Blair will be in the Swans squad travelling north this week & will play against us on Thursday night.
