  1. I've got to admit, I'm getting a half battered pizza ahead of the game tomorrow night. Largely because Glasgow would not know a decent fish supper if it came up and bit it on the arse.
  2. We've played better, but decent enough win for the Fife. Ross Forbes is carrying Clyde, and he's only got an hour of fitba per week in him.
  3. Just minded of an occasion in County Tipperary in the middle of absolutely nowhere in 2000. On holiday and decided to walk to the nearest pub for a pint. Hit the "main" road and the first car that passed me stopped and offered me a lift. The pub was one of these half and half grocers affairs. Terrific pint of Guinness!
  4. All roads lead to Pittenweem for what could potentially be the most one-sided showdown since the 1947-48 Jerry Dawson debacle.
  5. In February 1984 our train broke down halfway between Glasgow and Stranraer. Realising we were going to miss the game, my mate and I headed to the road to attempt to hitch a lift. The first car that passed was a group of East Fife fans and we squeezed in. We were the only away supporters at the game.
  6. Gammonati is the correct usage. Referencing a certain type of Daily Mail readership. Tory voters, racists, homophobes and, in Scotland specifically, sectarian fuckwits.
  7. I've been struggling to recharge my mobile for a while now. It recharges really, really slowly to the point when it loses power almost as quickly as it charges. It is now plugged it in and has been wavering between 18 and 19 percent for the last hour.
  8. Billy Kay on Radio Scotland the now. I'm all for folk speaking in their mother tongue, but he just sounds contrived and a bit ridiculous.
  9. Following Black Pudding's, frankly ludicrous, march to the final, we now see who will face them in Pittenweem.
  10. Ernie McGarr and Dixie Deans following a 2-2 draw at Bayview in 1973.
  11. We can all be a bit of a bore at times to be fair.
  12. My only one was in Poland. I observed a number of overgrown Jewish cemeteries and challenged family members about this. For Catholics, remembering the dead is very important. Apparently this does not extend to non-Christians. I was frankly disappointed in their response.
  13. Has anyone actually witnessed anti-semitism either in person, or on social media? I'm not saying it doesn't exist, but compared to islamophobia (which seems to be rife), it seems to be a miniscule problem here.
  14. If anyone clever could do a British Bulldog glancing nervously over its shoulder while McClean is about to launch him over the main stand at Ibrox feel free to step forward.
  15. I'm sure I post this every year, but you used to get Tesco value mince pies that were excellent. Rubbish if you like them deep-filled, which I don't. Shallow-filled in a really nice, buttery shortcrust pastry. 49p for six back in the day. Nubbly
  16. The old station bar was good fun. Tartan Special on draught - when Tartan Special seemed like a decent pint on your way back from Forfar or Brechin in early 80s.
  17. The Draw: Smoked Sausage v Black Pudding Haggis Pudding v Battered Haddock Tickets will be split on a 50-50 basis
