  1. November 2066 There's only one game in there which we'll all be interested in - we were pretty comprehensively outplayed by Dudelange. We had a couple of half chances, but nothing massively promising and they came closer to scoring a third than we got to getting one back. Shame. Rest of the month was fine, we scraped by against Progres but the three points are all that counts. We've dropped off the top of the table, but we're still in the title race so that's something. Germany Lost my first game as German manager, but we probably shouldn't have lost it. We just couldn't score and they took their chances. A shame. Croatia defended well against us, and we missed a penalty, but still got the win in the end. And that win against Croatia was enough to see us through to the Nations League finals again.
  2. This is the main thing for me - it makes absolutely no sense whatsoever for Rangers to agree not to advertise competitors of Parks of Hamilton without Parks paying them not to, but I also have no idea why Parks would pay them not to advertise competitors without also advertising them.
  3. You won’t need strikers, just punt the ball in the general direction of our defence and it’ll end up being a goal somehow.
  4. October 2066 Some poor results, though not losses, at the start of the month. Claude Hansen fucked it in the first game with a David Wotherspoon moment, getting himself sent off within about 20 seconds of coming on. They then equalised in the last minute. We just couldn't break Rosport down either, which is disappointing given that almost everyone else in the league manages to break them down. Two good wins to see the month out though. We're still unbeaten, but I honestly would have expected to win all of these games, so settling for eight points is slightly underwhelming. We're still top of the table. though, and the margin has grown to three points. Obviously it's still very tight, and we haven't faced Dudelange yet, but it's definitely positive. Germany Four points. and yet I wasn't impressed with us in either game. France didn't play well, and we needed two penalties to score, and then we couldn't score against a relatively weak Iceland side. Results are the main thing of course, and I'm happy with those, but not ideal. Maybe I'm being overly harsh though. Other results mean that we're almost certainly going through though. Which is swell.
  5. September 2066 Another decent month, and both my strikers managed to open their accounts for the season which should be good. Always like them to get a couple early doors. The game against Differdange, who are spending 25x more on wages than me, was probably the worst match in the entire save. Neither side managed a touch in the other teams box. We had more shots, and nominally created the better chances but really doesn't say anything. Utter dross all round. We're still sitting top though, which is nice, and are still unbeaten. Germany Two very straightforward wins for the world champions. Neither side presented that much of a challenge to be honest. Also realised that I'm still unbeaten in my Germany reign, and have only failed to win in 90 minutes twice. Top, but as I said at the draw it'll be the games against France that define this.
  6. At no stage did you ask a question. Citing renowned c**t Trevor Philips isn’t going to convince anyone that you’re not a massive racist, pal. Just for what it’s worth, even if we accept that in London most knife crime is perpetrated by ‘the black community’, I don’t think that searching someone entirely on the basis that they are black is justified. Why do you believe that ‘most knife crime in particular areas are committed by the black community’? Like, what do you think the reasons for that are?
  7. Right, so in your opinion ‘being black’ is enough of a reason to suspect someone of committing a crime? Got you. You’re a dreadful person and a massive racist, and given your horrendous quality of output to this forum, I’ll take absolutely no lectures from you.
  8. I don’t think he’s tied to them, but I’m also pretty sure Barnes has turned us down a couple of times and is on record as saying he’s not interested.
  9. It’s been pointed out before, but you’re either a troll or a genuine moron. Read the thing you’ve quoted. Why do you think that proposals which even the Government who are bringing them in say discriminate against minority ethnic groups are “completely justified”?
  10. August 2066 An excellent start. Couldn't take the chances we created against US Esch, but we haven't conceded a goal yet, or even really looked close to conceding one so that's a good sign. Mike Thill on right wing has been great so far, and has been called into the full Luxembourg squad at just 17 so well done to him. I think he'll be a key player in my attempts to win this league - although I'm shiteing it that Dudelange will be buying him fairly soon. That run puts us top of the table at this early stage.
  11. Transfers 2066 Outgoings first, and for the second window in a row Dudelange have turned up and cherry picked one of my brightest prospects. Bit of a pain in the arse, and the club isn't doing too well financially so I don't even see much of that budget to spend myself. Other than that, no real losses and good to get a few players out on loan too. And that's the incoming players, a case of (hopefully) quality over quantitu. I spent almost my entire transfer bidget on Robert Milenkovski, a centre midfielder from Macedonia. He's a tidy enough player, and he works hard so that's good. Makes my midfield better, and it was the main weak point in my team last season, so hopefully he'll help that. Luka Stojkovic is the striker I signed to replace Ferreira, and he's a different type of player. He's good on the ball, but his finishing isn't as good and he's slower. However, he's much stronger and he's also 6'5 so that's good, and means I have someone to aim at if I want to go long. Henrik Krammy is here as squad depth, again in central midfield. Should be a decent enough ball winner, don't think he'll do much else but he'll be fine to come off the bench or give others a rest. Last up, Kazimierz Bieszczad, a left winger. He's been at Dudelange for about 10 years, and only every made 4 appearances. He's pretty quick, and his first touch is good, but he's not got much else. Still, he gives us another option at left wing. I think his pace and work rate will be useful to have.
  12. While Shaw’s goal was a very good hit, I’m still absolutely furious at the “defending” for it. Atrocious. Thought about it some more, and that reminded me of us early last season. Lots of pretty passing that doesn’t actually achieve anything, no cutting edge at all and always looking suspect at the back. Killie will almost certainly win the league, as they look a very effective team.
  13. That’s as poor as we’ve been all season. Bannigan and Sneddon were fine, no one else was near the required standard.
  14. Genuine question: what was the last game of ours you actually watched? You seem to pop up before and after with this shite, but never ever any actual comment on what’s happened in the match.
  15. No, I don’t think they had legitimate security concerns. I think they used the fact that it’s plausible that some of your fans would attack Sutton and/or Lennon as an excuse to try to dictate (again) to media organisations who is and isn’t allowed to report on matters from Ibrox. And I think they should be absolutely fucking hammered for it.
  16. It’s still possible that they thought there was a genuine risk that Sutton/Lennon would be assaulted, and they weighed up the options of not letting them in or providing extra security and decided on the former. And the reason for that will be that, without even checking, there’s undoubtedly a load of Rangers fans absolutely loving getting it right up ‘wan ae them’
  17. Europa Conference League, First Qualifying Round In the midst of all that, my club side got pumped out of Europe. No complaints really, we were just soundly beaten by a far superior side. Made 70 grand out of it, so that's all I can really ask for.
  18. The 2066 FIFA World Cup For the first time in the save, I go into a major international tournament with an actual chance at winning it. Germany won the Euros just prior to me taking over, and we're currently ranked second in the world so you'd think we should be among the favourites. Plus, it's Germany. Germany are always amongst the favourites, even when their team is comparatively shite. As I highlighted earlier, my group looks like this... I would be frankly appalled if we can't get through that. And with that in mind, it was recommended that we arrange some friendlies against African and Central American sides to warm up... Good few results there. Guinea-Bissau are 14th in the world, so that's a good result. Main negative is that Dirk Abelmann got an injury which will keep him out of the tournament. Anyway, onto the group stage
  19. And for the first time in the save, someone other than Celtic or Rangers is champions of Scotland. Well done to the club club.
  20. May 2066 We finished our season off with a win, and there was much rejoicing. Probably could have won by more, but it really didn't matter. And so the final table looks like this. Eight points off top spot, but I think it'll likely take a wee while for us to topple Dudelange as top dogs. Unhelpfully, Differdange got promoted as well, and they have a fucking massive budget so you'd expect that they should be quite good. Who knows really, they managed to get relegated with a massive budget so that could happen again. Up next for me, the World Cup 2066, in England.
  21. April 2066 Job done. Well done to Moritz Boning who dragged us through that, particularly the latter game where we didn't play that well for large periods but he got a hattrick anyway. Aye, that'll do for this season. One more game to go, and it's absolutely meaningless for both sides. Germany That's our Nations League group for next time. France the big test here, I'd expect them to be quite good.
