April 2050 We got what we needed, but we seem to have really run out of steam in the last few months of the season. But it sees us into a third placed finish, and we're going into the Europa Conference League. I'm hopeful we can have a wee run in that, but I wouldn't be surprised if we get pumped out immediately.

Given that this’ll be Clyde’s eighth? game in two weeks, I’d hope that their players are absolutely fucked and that should help us. I never watched the first game of the season, so no idea what to expect from Clyde but we have to be winning this. I’d go with basically the same team as yesterday unless Wright is back, in which case drop Sneddon. I expect Gordon will come in for someone though, and at least one other pointless change.

March 2050 Dreadul. Not much else I can say really. Fortunately Sfintul have had an even worse month than we have. We're now one win away from securing third, I think.

February 2050 An absolute horrorshow against Sheriff, and then we nearly contrived not to beat Real Succes by missing a ton of chances. Got the goal though, and that spurred us on to excellent results against Zimbru and Sfintul - Sfintul in particular is a huge result for us. I'd like to hope that's us all but secured in third.

Do we know how long Wright is expected to be out for? I know we got a clean sheet today, but the more I see him, the more convinced I am that Sneddon will never be good enough to do anything other than the Ryan Scully role as a pretty dodgy backup.

January 2050 Two big disappointments this month - going out the cup, and not beating Sfintul which could have put us very, very firmly in control in the race for third. Still, the rest of the month went well and the 4-0 against Victoria Bardar is the first time in a few months that I've seen us win a game really comfortably. We're six clear of Sfintul, but it could be 12 if we'd won that game against them. Still, we're in the driving seat to get third and the European spot that comes with it.

Convincing stuff, although Peterhead were really poor throughout, but in particular in the second half. Rudden’s miss was classic Rudden stuff, and Blair Lyons managed to put in a decent ball which is almost certainly the best moment of his Thistle career so far. MacIver doesn’t seem to be particularly good, but still better than Rudden. He seems to sometimes win headers at least. Bell and Brownlie got through that without any calamities as well, which is nice even if Peterhead put them under no pressure whatsoever. Onto Tuesday now.

December 2049 Pretty decent. Will definitely take that. We're into third place now, which is lovely and with a comfortable ten point gap over fifth. No chance of actually winning the league this season, but I'll take European football and hope that the prize money can help sort out the club finances a bit so we can sign the few players I think we need for a proper challenge.

November 2049 Pleased with that, although we should have been more comfortable in the three wins. I'll take any wins though, and another draw with Sheriff is a good result, all things considered. We're still in the cup, although we're likely to be playing Sheriff in the next round, so that's a big ask. Apparently we're behind Sfintul on head to head despite drawing twice because they scored goals at our stadium. Still in fourth, and we've managed to close the gap above us as well.

I’ve had 1 Labour, 2 Tory, nothing from SNP or Greens and about 20 from the Lib Dems. Labour’s did look like they’ve finally realised that out-Torying the Tories might not be a viable strategy and they should actually offer some policies. We’ll see how long it lasts. We got the Tory one above and one that actually mentioned the local candidate, but basically banged on about the spaces for people thing that has all the NIMBYs up in arms round here. Lib Dem ones have all be pretending to be a newspaper calling itself the ‘West Edinburgh News Gazette.’ One of my neighbours delivers them, might ask if he can just fire it straight into the bin for me and cut out the middle man.

Mental that the Lib Dem’s used to be part of the Government up here, and now they’re basically confined to about 4 seats that anyone notices them in.

This is the one thing I’ll give our commentary team - they’re more than happy to call out the team when we’re playing badly, which is quite a lot of the time. They don’t tend to mention that individual players are shite, but I can see how that’s different.
