  1. Arthurlie 2 v 1 Troon Largs Thistle 1 v 1 Gartcairn Kilwinning Rangers 3 v 1 Ashfield St. Anthony’s 2 v 2 Maryhill Irvine Victoria 4 v 4 Lesmahagow Juniors BSC Glasgow 0 v 4 Thorn Athletic
  2. So the rest coming over wasted it for clubs like yours.
  3. The whole thing has been a mess from them. One can only hope Talbot tear them a new one.
  4. It's been done to death. Suffice to say, the clubs did not want to play in a diminished league so the more moved across, the less appealing staying behind was. Also, clubs like Clydebank were counting on that happening to actually form a league. IMO the important advantage is that the general running of the league, although far from perfect, is much better. The SJFA and it's regional admin were idiots.
  5. They have no interest in it because they don't have the resources to get it done.
  6. You've misunderstood pal. @not man of the match said that some clubs should have fought to remain the the Ayrshire Juniors. I was asking which ones should have. Don't do FB so not aware of this stuff but I would imagine it's fans doing the shouting on there, not the clubs themselves.
  7. Your club are well ahead with their fixtures so the SJC hasn't got in the way of their progress. They have had their chance this season and look like blowing it. The one virtue of a pyramid is that the best teams win their leagues and have the chance to progress. (There shouldn't be any play offs for champions but that's another argument). Be honest, you and your pals are just raging because better teams keep getting in the way of you getting back to where you think you rightfully belong. Just win the league and everything will be ok.
  8. How many times does it have to be pointed out that it was Hobson's Choice.
  9. You obviously don't know the education sector so I won't let that get in the way of your virtue signalling.
  10. Can you quote them please? I haven't seen anyone say that, except once by @Shanner which was obviously in jest.
  11. Marcello Gandini. I thought that was the make of David Brent's leather jacket.
  12. Craiglang Auld Team reportedly thinking about it.
  13. That would never happen. Senior teams now dontyouknow.
  14. A rare visit to the pictures for us last night to see Ken Loach's, The Old Oak. I love everything this man does and this was no exception. Brilliant, heartbreaking and anger provoking at the same time. The story is set in a mining village near Durham where Syrian refugees start pitching up. The local pub is the centre of the action where the locals argue about the merits/dangers of having this influx into the area. As usual with Loach it's more like a fly on the wall affair than a drama but the ebbing and flowing between the raw emotion of confrontation and gentle, human solidarity. As someone who hates celebrity and the social media veneer culture of today, this was refreshing to see that Loach hasn't lost his ability to show REAL life and REAL issues that all of us as human beings face. Can't recommend it highly enough.
  15. Last year's table... You were two points off the top. Hardly struggling. Stop trying to get in other team's "you're doing well considering the start you had" stories!
  16. Pollok are due a win. Tomorrow evening seems like a good time to get one.
