  1. Aye breakfast is a croissant (will be called either a brioche or cornetto locally) and coffee/orange juice (spremuta). You will probably find eggs or such like being served somewhere but it will be a touristy place. Also, the 3pm comment is exaggerated. Lunch is massively important to Italians and there will be some great wee pasta places. Try this one... https://www.osteriadafortunata.it/ Get there early though, about 12, as there' will be a big queue.
  2. So if you believe that players read this forum and take the word of a random poster, why would that cause unrest in the dressing room if they actually are getting paid?
  3. How can a post on a football forum cause dressing room unrest?
  4. Not for much longer Also, that trope is a calling card of a moron when it comes to justifying ground shares. Comparing apples with tatties.
  5. In fairness it would be more than a little hilarious if Darvel got promotion this year after Gall has left. Wonder if his wee shiny face would pop up somewhere on the interview circuit?
  6. With the potential to annoy the dafties... 27th March- Darvel v Talbot in the league 12th & 19th April- Darvel v Talbot in the Scottish Cup* Question- If you could only win one of these ties, which would it be? *I know @glensmad, I know.
  7. Yes please. PM everyone to let us know when you've sorted it.
  8. Absolutely right. When living in Doha, I had a Rwandan taxi driver once and to initiate conversation I chimed in with, "How have things changed there since the war?" . The lad simply replied, "There's never been a war there, sir" and gave me a potted history to show what a fool I was. He probably wrote about me on Rwandan fitba forum "Matoke & Urwagwa"
  9. In all seriousness, there's a lot of matches still to be played. Bankies are currently doing what Talbot were at the start of the season, losing by the odd goal so they could start winning again. Although they're running out of games and have probably played all their cards in terms of signings. Said on another thread that Talbot have three consecutive huge games coming up against St. Cadoc's, Darvel and Beith. Let's see what happens there, then we'll talk . Whatever happens, Sir Thomas Sloan is an utter hero! As always, the caveat is that I'm only going on results as I don't see the games.

Looking at the table, it can't be denied that there is a wee gap developing between the top three and the rest of us. Time to reel them in guys! Check your scores please. Fixtures for Saturday 9th March are;- Beith Juniors v Darvel Kirkintilloch Rob Roy v Glenafton Athletic Shorts Bon Accord v Petershill Kilsyth Rangers v Vale of Clyde Ardeer Thistle v Dalry Thistle Glenvale v Lugar Boswell Thistle There's your super six for this week. Good luck!
  11. Looking at the table, Beith are still definitely firm favourites. They are the current champions, have been over the course before and know how to get over the line. Talbot are very much the underdogs.............
  12. Yet to predict an Arthurlie result, let alone a correct score. It must be murder being a supporter. FWIW I hope you stay up.
  13. Do you honestly prefer astro to grass, slenderbilt?
  14. Draw a willy! If you don't, you're wasting your wasted vote.
  15. There's another fan survey in the Prem thread. Yasss!
  16. @welshbairn I can lend you a score if you're stuck.
