  1. As is his public profile and popularity which I really don't get as he's not funny and is actually a bit creepy.
  2. the only thing I'd say is you need to be careful with third party booking sites, especially in peak season. Companies will give priority to people booking directly through their website to the point where if they have no cars you will have to wait until there are. Also, worth checking Arnold Clark rental (I know). Their prices fluctuate but can sometimes be good in comparison even to agents. Only thing is that they have a surcharge if it's out of hours.
  3. Even the big Scottish? That's what I was referring to. I thought they were still replayed but if I'm mistaken, sorry.
  4. Yep. The SJC is a great old tournament but you're right, it shouldn't get in the way of the business end of the league season like it has. It's unfair on everyone in the league, regardless of whether they opt in to the SJC or not. It really is an anomaly which needs sorted.
  5. Replays are normally midweek affairs where possible IIRC. Having cup weekends in the schedule makes sense so not sure where you're getting the idea that league should always take priority..
  6. Nice to see Michael Portillo taking in the game. Was he filming?
  7. One knew exactly what one was doing. Four WoSFL teams involved in the premier cup competition available to WoSFL clubs. Thanks for the blessing though

  9. You're not an ex Junior man so you wouldn't know.
  10. Starting tonight, four belters over the next eight days (if the rain stops). Who's going through? Will good conquer evil? Will there be hunnersa steak pies going begging? Seriously, what do we reckon? Mon' the Talbot!
  11. Talbot fans seem more vocal because there are more of them and they are continually putting their hand in their pocket for their club.
  12. Take a day off! PG and Dak fell under the same category for me. I wasn't sure if I enjoyed it or not and I struggled not to be catty (steady Bill) about it on here at the time.
  13. Ach it's fine. Personally I have mixed feelings about these sort of things as they can tend to be a bit self indulgent (me, me, me) but find it hard to knock the guys who take time to do them. If nothing else, this one was topical.
  14. A synopsis of this thread as there is absolutely no grounding for any of it. Nothing will change, nor should it. The ONLY aspect which needs sorted is to promote all tier 6 champions. QED.
  15. Yes, but you being a cat person, in retrospect it was maybe too much to expect.
  16. Thanks pal. Not that it makes a difference but just to know the background.
  17. Who is the boy who runs this podcast? He looks like him off of Burnistoun and The Scotts.
  18. Welcome to the fold. You look like you'll fit right in!
