The top two top scored this week. @99blue baloons moved back into 2nd place with 20 points, @dagane's loyalty to Glenafton ensured an 18 point week and @Darvel legend backed them too to take 17 points. They proved to be diamonds in the rough as the rest of us farted about with the odd correct result here and there. Check your scores please. Fixtures for Saturday 30th March are;- Benburb v Arthurlie Troon v Clydebank Kilbirnie Ladeside v Drumchapel United Wishaw v Caledonian Locomotive Bellshill Athletic v Greenock Juniors Lugar Boswell Thistle v Royal Albert We will begin our cup competition this week. In order to reach a nice round 16 players for the knockout stage, we will use next Saturday's standalone scores as a preliminary round. The top 16 will go through to the following week and (probably) me and the other two bottom scores will drop out. I will post the knockout format next week. In the event of a tie for 16th place, "penalties" will be applied in that the best score in the first match in the list (Benburb v Arthurlie) will go through and if that should be the same, the second match will be used and so on. Thanks to @Broomhill Ultra as I'm using his idea from last season. Hopefully that's clear but if not, give me a shout. Finally, the prize money for the cup competition. You may remember that we have £60 of the prize pot set aside for this. What is the consensus of how we should use it. As it will be a knockout competition, there will be a final so do we think 40 to the winner and 20 to the runner up or winner takes all. Please chip in with your opinion or if you have another idea.
