We shouldn't need to sell anyone this season. Having made 1.2mill the season before last and then selling Ryan Blair and getting vastly increased prize money we should be able to cope with a slight loss for one season. Players should only be being sold for silly money at this stage.

Bit surprising that with over 50 % ownership but only one bod fan member. Seems a bit of an under representation. We have a fans rep on the bod despite having far less a collective percentage of the club.

I presume that unlike rangers most of the cash wasn't owed to the HMRC which it was in the case of Sevco or Dunfermline could easily have gone the same way.

So when are you going to pay back all the folk you shafted with your zero pence in the pound deal then. I'd have thought if your that big a community club that would be the first thing you'd be doing when you started to make a profit. Or has that just been brushed under the carpet.

But Hibs fans kept on telling us how brilliant Stubbs was! Surely Lennon wont therefore be able to get more out of the same players?

A lot will depend on who Hibs bring in between now and opening day. A decent starting goalkeeper , a solid centre half , a replacement for henderson and another good striker and they'll be hard to beat. Will be interesting to see who lennon gets to strengthen last seasons squad as over the 36 games it was found wanting.

I think the fact he's shit will probably be enough.

You've got to take who you can get whether its a 22 year old up and coming goalie or a 35 year old crock striker on the way down. Thats the championship for you.

Great news and the squad is now looking even stronger than last season with only Alston out the door. Will be interesting to see who Hibs bring in over the next few weeks to replace henderson, oxley/mr blobby and to bolster last years shaky defence.

Yeah we could all go down the route of flinging some seats on some old terracing and giving an ancient old stand a lick of paint but I'd rather see us get four proper stands to be honest.

I remember us matching West ham in a cracking preseason match at brockville years ago . We then went on to get relegated. Friendlies mean hee haw. Just look at England.

Something must've gone badly wrong with beck for him to be struggling for a team these days. Was supposed to be a decent prospect when we had him on loan and he did OK after a poor start. He's hardly kicked a ball since then and got punted out of Yeovil even though he had a year left on his contract. Would've been worth a look if we didn't have miller whose a class above him.

I'm not sure it's influenced his decision but the injury has certainly put other clubs off coming in for him I would have thought. If he'd remained fit and kept his form up till end of season someone quite probably would've come in with an offer for him that would've been difficult to knock back.

He plays wide but has absolutely no ability to beat a man. Instead he puts his head down and runs towards the corner flag before crossing the ball against the defender. One of housties first and worst signings. Fortunately his signings since have been a lot better.
