  1. Agree with this. Ramadani is a decent Scottish Premiership centre mid, but I really don't think he's anything more than that. I don't get that 'how can we possibly replace him?' feeling I had when Jack/McLean/Shinnie/Ferguson left. Scales, on the other hand, has a skillset that I think we'd struggle to find elsewhere on our budget. We should be trying really hard to get him back.
  2. I'd agree with this. While he's been a good signing, out of the success stories from last year, I think his skillset is the most easily replaceable. Far harder to sign an equivalent to Clarkson, Duk or Miovski on our budget than another Ramadani.
  3. I liked Dominic Ball. Perfectly serviceable Scottish Premiership player when played in the right position.
  4. The part of London I live in is very well-to-do and absolutely full of Tory cabinet ministers and journalists I hate, which means about once a week a trip to the shops or pub turns me into a seething mess. Local c*nts: James Cleverly Lord Frost (Brexit negotiator) Dan Hodges Harry Cole Tim Shipman Liz Truss lived round here as well until she was PM, but I never actually saw her. Local good c*nts: Katherine Parkinson from the IT Crowd Ben Willibond from Ghosts/Horrible Histories/The Thick of It
  5. I don't think it's a red card, but I also didn't think it was a red in the Hearts game either. I am genuinely confused about the role VAR plays or doesn't play here. We often see games paused because VAR are checking a 'possible penalty'. Why would that not apply here, since absolutely no-one apart from John Beaton disputes that it was a foul?
  6. I actually laughed watching that. As clear a foul as you could possibly see and from that angle it looks to me that it continues into the box. A level of refereeing incompetence that manages to be both astonishing yet completely unsurprising at the same time.
  7. Big, noisy away supports are what makes watching football different to virtually any other sport. The league should absolutely set a minimum percentage that has to be given to away clubs if they request it. 5-10% seems reasonable to be.
  8. I'm baffled that that's not offside. Looked clearly off on the original angle.
  9. I can't be the only one that thinks this makes us look silly. I don't think it was a red (and I think the County player was guilty of exactly the same thing Shinnie was sent off for) but I can see why it was given. This is the kind of the Old Firm do. Grow up and move on.
  10. To be honest, I can see why it is a red card for Shinnie, even if I don't agree. I don't get how you can send him off without sending the County player off for exactly the same reason thought?
  11. This is typical of you liberal elite types. Drinking coffee and eating vegetables.
  12. I think there's a point to be made about the inconsistency in how suspensions work for different competitions but yeah, it was about the clearest red card you'll ever see.
  13. In March 2015 we went to Celtic Park in early only 3 points behind them on the back of a 13 game unbeaten run. It was Celtic's biggest game domestically that season by miles and, at the time, it looked like a proper title race was on. There were ten thousand empty seats in the home end.
  14. I can forgive the handball. When you look at it, he's just reacted completely instinctively to grab at the ball. The decision to head it in the first place though was completely insane. Just boot the f*cker into touch.
  15. Remember a guy in the seat next to me arrived about 15 minutes after kick off, asked what the score was and then immediately left.
  16. Does it only go down as a 3-0 defeat if we simply don't show up for the game? Worth considering.
  17. Not in the least bit surprised by that. Goodwin doesn't seem like the kind of boss the players would be desperate to save when the going was tough.
  18. This has the feeling of after that Celtic game, where the manager staggered along pointlessly for another few games before the inevitable happened.
  19. Yup. Stewart had had a good game as well, but he completely sold his teammates down the river there. Ridiculous tackle.
  20. Anything that gives us a bit more steel is fantastic. The fact that it's Shinnie though...
  21. Everything Roos does just looks so awkward, even when he does things competently. I get the sense that when Goodwin has decided you're not wanted, it's impossible to change his mind.
