The one positive is our homegrown players are starting to get the attention of bigger clubs which is a sign we are doing something right in our youth setup.

Think safe standing has just become a generic term by many for all standing as it keeps getting used by major clubs, pretty sure you are correct in that terracing is allowed at Prem level was it not part of the SPFL where they got rid of the 6000 seats rule? and the only reason Celtic put in 'Safe Standing' was as they need to be able to change from standing to seats for Europe.

Got to agree, there is nothing wrong with looking at ways to improve the match day experience, will standing have fans flooding in, probably not but it could create a section to add a bit of atmosphere to games combine it with other improvements and you might see an increase. There is no magic wand solution but there is nothing wrong with Sim trying to make improvements within our/his budget. I for one would welcome a standing section at Starks Park.

Not a cup game but 18 Dec 15 Morton 1 - 2 Rovers there was less than 20 there, was right before Christmas and on BBC Alba and the bridge was shut, pretty sure no buses ran through. 2-1 win at Ibrokes was also quite a small crowd as a lot boycotted the game after the scumbags stole Fifes Finests flag at the previous league meeting.

I'm sure Eric worked very hard for his time at the club and had great intentions but I doubt many will shed a tear at his departure. His handling last year was terrible, appointing a known dud in Gary Locke and hailing him the messiah then giving him a two year contract despite him never managing a year at previous clubs. Letting Bates go to Rangers for free so not to stand in his way. Giving Vaughan to a rival that ultimately relegated us. Letting Gary Locke sign his pals as a retirement plan and his criticism of his paying customers which I think shows in his thanking everyone except the supporters. No grudges and I wish him the best but time for a change. I'm sue he is more than welcome to join the rest of us in supporting and criticising the board and team.

Very encouraging performance from us, lads looked sharp, fit and confident on the ball. Worrying performance if you're a Pars fan as they looked poor but then it is only a friendly. Not sure signing half our team that was relegated last year was a good move but only time will tell. Great to see Vaughan back and Spence#Nandos. Hopefully we can put in a similar performance against the Arabs.

Good performance so far. Pars seemed to start well for first 5-10 mins but we really came into the game after that. Only a friendly but always nice to get a couple of goals against the Pars in any game.

It's alright M'voto and McManus are used to getting booed off at Starks Park.

Excuse my ignorance but how does the development league work? From what I see online reliable source of Wikipedia there is no promotion from east and west to main development league, is this the case if so why no promotion or relegation?

Only in Scotland would you get people describing trying to get the ball down and playing out from the back as a being bad thing, it's no wonder our leagues and National team are awful when that's the attitude. Maybe he will be a success and maybe he won't but I would rather we tried to play football instead of just kicking it long up the park.
