Lies is a great book, well plotted with a couple of gut punches along the way. Other 2 are good but not as good as LOLL. Yet another fantasy author that's struggling with his writing though, next book is well overdue. Joe Abercrombie is good and he fair pumps out the novels, on a bit of hiatus atm but I expect he'll come back with a book or two already written.

Another series that should only be read by the most patient of readers. 2 books in 10 years and the last one was 6 years ago.

I really liked 1990s as well, 2 really good pop rock records with some interesting lyrics Kudos for squeezing FTP & FTQ into a bouncey little pop song. Furr is a terrific album, I really like BT. I saw them at Tuts a while back, it's probably the most congested I've ever seen that tiny stage with all of the band members and their gear. Unfortunately their subsequent output has been patchy.

Technically they are correct, if however they had said we never get hot days in Scotland, that would be bollocks. I wouldn't call an average summer temperature of 15°C warm at all, it's 1°C less than the suggested minimum for working in an office.

Life - A very good Alien remake where astronauts recover a probe from Mars and discover life ergo 'shit hits the fan'. There's plenty of tension in this largely by the numbers creature feature and it does have a very bold ending which I enjoyed. 7/10
