I was mad wi' it in the Slam Tent one year when they were playing. Cos I really like them, I dinghied my chums and sprinted the full length of the venue to go and catch the last minute of them on the main stage playing Find the River. Then I realised I was sad, cold and lonely and beat a hasty retreat back to the Slam Tent. There's a time and a place etc.

Edit: Deleted everything I wrote. Aye, it's not cheap, but tbh, they don't really tour and last time I saw them at the Liquid Rooms, it was mobbed. Saw an interview with Nigel Blackwell where he was pressed about his lack of advertising and touring. His answer was that he preferred sleeping in his own kip every night hence the lack of travel.

Bit more than normal... £21. 7pm on 31st January at the Liquid Rooms... there is a support act called JD Meatyard, but he's a bit shite (he supported them in Blackburn as well).

Please settle an argument. A friend of mine (who lives in Edinburgh and doesn't drive) is adamant that there are no traffic wardens in Edinburgh on a Sunday, whereas I say that's bollocks. Can anyone confirm I'm right? (a picture of a traffic warden holding today's paper would be a bonus).

Is it not to raise awareness of people who want to raise awareness about themselves? Edit: Actually, I'm being cynical here. Nowt wrong with it if it's not some spurious attempt to raise awareness for some cause that will never benefit from it. -
