  1. 55mins in and Rover's keeper already laying claim to be MoM by looks and sounds of things.
  2. Absolutely the right decision. A total no -brainer. Probably why the SPFL made the early decision. Joking apart, hope everyone gets through this weather safely. Two deaths too many already. I see that's now three. Tragic.
  3. Pitch isn't the main issue. Travel for players and spectators alike and then safety at the game is higher on the agenda these days, and rightly so.
  4. Not quite yet. Getting close but Craig Brown still hingin' there as far as I'm concerned.
  5. Just watched the forecast for the week ahead on Countryfile. Friday is where it goes up to and it's horrendous. Assuming Saturday won't be much of an improvement looking at the synoptic chart.
  6. Hugely appreciated as always. Thanks again for all your efforts.
  7. Always going to be the case. Just got to weather the pressure and get a break away to the other end and score
  8. Raith Against The Machine. Thats far too rational and sensible for some
  9. No option to vote for Scott Brown? He who recently resided in the Fleetwood Town parish. Maybe he's too Celtic tainted for the CEO?
  10. Top o' the league! A win at last, after a generation of fans has been born in the intervening years! Break oot the cigars and strong drink
  11. Souness hitting the nail on the heid! The man's absolutely spot on.
  12. It's for games like this that the word rollercoaster was invented Talk about the highs and lows of fitba'! Well done to the players for getting there in the end and the legend that is Lewis Vaughan
  13. Don'cha just love the generation gap? You start to get a wee hint of your own mortality with an answer like that
  14. Some of you may know that Spanish football was founded by a Scot called Alexander Mackay from the village of Lybster in Caithness. He formed Recreation de Huelva on 23rd December 1889 for recreational purposes for the Rio Tinto mine workers. This is the oldest club in Spain. A year later the newly formed Sevilla played Huelva in a match and from here the sport expanded rapidly. Mackay had played for his local village club (still going strong by the way) before going to Spain. The Lybster team visited and played a game against Recreativo five years ago. The rematch in Lybster is scheduled hopefully for next year.
  15. I'm normally an XL in most types of clothing but ordered the XXL from previous experience of "nippit" sizing with the RemembeR top. Yup! That long ago! The XXL fits perfectly on top of a t shirt base layer. Fair chuffed!
  16. Congratulations guys. Well deserved with only one loss so far. Looking forward to locking horns next season in four proper derbies as we wander down into the Championship depths on our way to where you have come from. Enjoy your weekend and the remainder of the season
