  1. Did we have any effort on target in the first? I can't think of one but maybe missed one.
  2. What has Turner brought to this squad? Diddly squat as far as I can see.
  3. We're square all the time. Across or back but seldom forward. That's the root of the problem.
  4. Even allowing for the wind, we're not passing. Just hitting it up the park or throwing it aimlessly into the box, all in the hope something might happen. Airdrie are much sharper and also defending well when required.
  5. Defence? What defence? Absolutely shocking that they couldn't clear the lines. We're not at the races in this one
  6. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c72g9penygro Some action at last.
  7. Got mine by Royal Mail today. Lovely gift(s). Two of which are very useful and will be well used in this part of the country given the weather experienced here. A week of snow followed quickly by two named storms........ in this part of the world this is known as January!
  8. Poor team selection and tactics have cost us points today and not for the first time this season. Consolation Partick only draw as do United. Really need to get back to winning league games when they next arise.

  10. Nothing will change until Sam Stanton gets back in to try to stabilise things and Ian Murray takes his head out of his excrement chute and changes tactics to have a solid back four etc.
  11. Nothing beats not signing a defender or two but sign midfielders and strikers then stick them on the bench. We're being totally torn apart. A hat trick in no time for Samuel
  12. Probably because it's not allowed in the UK due to fixtures elsewhere. I'm sure that it will be available overseas though.
  13. Manny Duku a name familiar to both sets of supporters starting today for Maidstone against Ipswich in lunchtime FA cup tele game. He's been round the block a few times since leaving us for Inverness and thereafter.
  14. I'd be happy with 4 games for the consistent run of fitness the way things are, or, in Watson's case, 4 days!
  15. Ah well! Disappointing result. Another year, another poor financial return from the Cup, over and above the excitement of progressing to the next round. Get the feeling that next week is an absolute must win v ICT to get the wheels back on the wagon and turning again. Someone has to take some action to get the defence sorted as the Jan window is slowly creaking closed and will speed up as we get closer to the 31st.
  16. Disappointing to hear this about Mitchell but one step back could be two forward. Bo'ness is close enough to Falkirk Can only wish him all the very best going into the future. As others have said, if he wasn't tearing it up with the Methil men then, for now at least, a drop down a level may well help him progress.
  17. 9°C Dry and breezy for tomorrow around 3pm across the Central Belt. Game on imo.
  18. Frozen artificial pitch? This is just giving more ammo for that numpty in Inverness to moan about. Artificial grass pitches are supposed to be weather resistant given that they are of course a decent quality. Hmm! . Maybe therein lies the problem?
  19. As I posted in a reply two back from here..... "Very disappointing to hear that. Maybe start up your own craft gin or craft beer festival to get in on the act?"
  20. Very disappointing to hear that. Maybe start up your own craft gin or beer one to get in on the act?
  21. It would be interesting to know how much your club brought in from the Whisky Festival back in November. The afternoon session was extremely well attended with a very large queue around 2pm. I believe that there was a morning session and one later in the evening. A fair few hundreds in attendance should have benefitted your coffers. That's if it was QP that actually hosted the event?
  22. Possibly in your opinion (and probably many others) but clubs earn much needed revenue from hospitality. Obviously the largest clubs will gain most due to the size of the fanbase and the greater size and amount of facilities available. However, small clubs also benefit financially from hospitality, or else they wouldn't provide the opportunity. Like it, or lump it, hospitality packages are very much part of football in the modern game.
