There's been a fair few in the "heads gone" category on this forum and Facebook because of the poor return of points in the last three games against the bottom three clubs. If you are having a sticky patch would you not be better dropping points against these teams rather than the teams closer to you i.e. United, Partick and at New Year the Pars when they were still in fourth spot?Less damage surely? We are still equal top albeit United with the game in hand (Morton away in a midweek fixture in February) and with admittedly a far superior GD. Long long way yet to go folks. As long as we can get back on track and don't end up going through another sticky spell like QP had last session in the closing fixtures we'll have entered the play offs, if not having hopefully won the title with a game or two to go. I'm fairly sure that this will yet go down to the wire.

Beaten by the far better team as far as I can tell. Unlucky at the death with the free kick but we've had more than our share of luck earlier in the season. New manager bounce and manager of the month award combine to spoil the weekend. Classic Rovers. Seen it so often in the past 60+ years.

To be honest this has been coming for a wee while. We've ridden more than our fair share of luck earlier in the season and the now need a major reset starting with basic defending.

Just not going to happen today by the looks of things. At least we get a break from the league in the next two games but it would be good to get a win in at least one of those games.

Did they ever benefit as a club from the late Colin Weir's millions, or was it all spunked into the fans buy out plans for control of the club? Indeed, what did happen with his millions that went in the direction of Firhill? Anyone know?

We got through it but only just at Arbroath a few weeks ago. Just get through this game with any kind of win and away we go again.

I may be totally wrong but I'd suggest that if he hasn't signed by Saturday then he won't be one of ours. If going elsewhere and wants a game this weekend then he'll also have to sign for whoever by Saturday. Watch out perhaps for news over the next three days?

Using the Americanism "offense" instead of attack is definitely an offence in my book!

Usually associated with pre or post match interview somebody comes out with..."At this moment in time" Why use five words when one or possibly two will do?......."Now" or "Right now". Trying too hard to sound as if they have a command of the English language.

Thank you Morton for keeping us still at the top for another week. Impressive scoring three times in one game against a team that's at home and only conceded seven league goals before today. Just remember to do the same when they play you in their game in hand later in the season.

We can be easily caught especially if we keep losing a few more and Partick keep scoring like today. Just look at how QP imploded up to the last game of last season then losing the title to Dundee in the final game.

Ach well! Kinda knew we could lose this one but it's only the second loss so far this season. Not too despondent as we've hit a poor patch. Softened greatly with United losing. Partick the big winners this afternoon.
