Easily the best race of the season. Not just because Lewis won, but there was action right from the start all the way through the field. Kinda feel sorry for Bottas as the SC came at the wrong time, but that’s sport. If Max and Leclerc are the future of F1, then it’s looking very bright. Brilliant stuff from them going wheel to wheel.

I take back what I said about Monaco. Qualified 11th, started 10th after a KMag grid penalty and finished 9th. Started on the medium tyre and the plan was the two stop but when the leaders pitted early I was running second, so decided to keep going and turn it into a one stop when I realised they weren’t gonna get by. Pitted half way through for the hard tyre and was running last (due to the Trulli train I had created) but the cars in front then made their second stop. EDIT 50% race, 39 laps of total concentration takes it toll on you mentally!

I despise Monaco with a passion. Usually just do a couple of practice laps then simulate the rest of the weekend.

I think I had it on 70 but had my Williams in the top five in first practice in Melbourne so changed it to 80. Much more realistic and more of a challenge.

The local supermarket moving everything about which means my weekly ten minute shop takes 45 minutes as I have no idea where anything is.

I agree. They lucked in with Vettel and Verstappen, and to a lesser extent Danny Ric but I can’t see any promising talent coming through. Maybe Bottas to move next year when Ocon gets the second Mercedes seat? On another note, does anyone else see Vettel retiring at the end of the season? It’s not going his way and he doesn’t have the same fight about him especially now that he has a team mate who isn’t scared to challenge him. Can see him calling it a day.

Yeah I was disappointed the F2 part of career mode was more of a scenario mode like FIFA, and not an actual season. Signed up to the Mercedes young driver programme and driving for Williams in my first season. Prefer to make it more realistic and work my way up the ladder.
