    Some brilliant driver swaps at the start of my third season. Hamilton and Verstappen are now team mates at Toro Rosso, Bottas at Alfa, Kimi to RBR which means Giovanazzi and Kvyat are now at Mercedes. WTF?

    Just watched the bbc documentary about Fernando Ricksen there, and not afraid to admit I was in tears. What a horrible thing to happen to anyone and it says a lot about the man that he fought it right till the end. At least he is no longer suffering. RIP Fernando.

    While I’m a huge Maiden fan, these DL headliners seem to be the same bands being churned out on a cycle every couple of years. Suppose it says a lot about the current crop of up and coming bands who aren’t good enough to headline.

    I like it cos it’s one of the easiest Singapore has to be my favourite along with Baku, you actually feel a sense of satisfaction when everything comes together on those tracks.

    Anyone able to get the starts perfect off the line? I always seem to bog down and lose 4/5 places if I’m starting a race near the front or in midfield. I’ve tried different techniques too, just letting the clutch go and also letting the clutch go and also the accelerator for a very split second so the revs aren’t too high but it still doesn’t work.
