I always thought the critism of Doyle was unfair. Duffy played without a right sided midfielder, so Doyle was doing the work of two players and whenever play broke down on that side it was always his fault. Maybe if Duffy didn’t insist on playing two of the most left sided players I’ve ever seen at Morton, in Tidser and Forbes, on the right then Doyle would have been a better player.

I’ve just started watching the show from the beginning last week and Daryl was superb early on. Especially on the farm and looking for Sophia. Now he’s nothing more than a background character. Who knows what will happen when Rick is gone. Will they make it about Daryl and Negan? I’m not fussed so long as JDM is still there.

It’s Thursday that annoys me the most during the working week. It’s like, it’s almost the weekend and you can just about reach out and touch it, but you have to go through this nothing sort of day before getting to Friday and getting into the spirit of the weekend.

Considering we sacked Duffy as soon as the season finished, I’d have expected us to have a new manager in place by now. As Piehutt said, I getting the feeling we were putting all of our eggs in the Hopkin basket and that’s not come off. So, what’s plan B?
